I dont want Kennedy to die and I dont want to see Willow/Oz it wouldnt work now, Willow has moved on alot!!!

Sorry Spuffy fans but doesn't look like Spike will be able to apear in our season 8 as a regular. It is now official that Spike has moved over to Angel.

Well this sounds great so im in.i have 1 idea
I think that there should be a team of slayers(only 3)
I think that Buffy,Faith and our old friend Kendra should work together to burry the forces of Evil.tell me is that as lame as i thought it was????
*QUOTE*🙁Demon)"who r u?"
Buffy:Im buffy the vampire slayer and u r?
Kool quote am i rite?

Now that the finale aired, I guess it'll have to be about
the scoobies picking up their lives and travelling all over the world to find slayers.

We should sort our story's into episodes so we can have 22 like in real life then move on to virtual season 9. Also I think we should have a Wolfram and Hart start up near where Buffy is.

Ok, I'm going to throw in something here that might sound a bit...skeptical. Or like a suggestion of sorts.

I think that it's going to be really hard to have a bunch of different writers just throwing in stories to make a "new season" because the greatness of Buffy and it's many writers was that they all had separate ideas, plots, what not, but they were all following Joss' master plan.

I think that in order make this really work we need to come up with a "master plan" or skeletal outline for the season.

What about if you did it ME style, meaning someone got to play Joss.

Perhaps you could do something like rather than submit individual scripts in the beginning, each person would submit a story arc for the proposed season. You would then submit a vote for someone's arc other than your own. The winner would get to play Joss.

He or she would organize the upcoming season, assigning scripts, editing and organizing ideas so they remained true to the arc. This person would have right of submission of any episode he or she chose anywhere in the season, just as Joss does.

In the case of competing ideas for the same episode they could be submitted to the voting process as previously suggested.

Awesome idea! We should bring oz back and kill Kenedy 😀....And maybe we could actualy
go to Cleavlend (SP)
in Season 8....

Hi everyone. I'm fairly new to the boards, but I've got experience as a screenwriter (a failed one, but one nonetheless), and I'm actually kind of relieved to learn I'm not the only person who does "virtual" seasons of shows (I'm a Smallville fan... but not lately 😉). Anyway, I'd like to throw my hat into the Virtual S8 pool. I can contribute scenarios, ideas, or co-writing scripts. I think having two or three individuals who cooperate on an overall story arc for the full 22 episodes, then the rest of us specing out the individual episodes according to the overall arc would work. Anyway, here are a few of my ideas, please let me know your thoughts, and what I can do to join this party...

- Pike returns. Who's Pike? He was Buffy's date to the big dance, the year before she burned down the auditorium and killed a messload of vampires. Pike and Buffy had a brief fling, but Buffy left for Las Vegas soon after (then, Sunnydale). Pike's experience with Buffy has opened his eyes to the nature of the world around him, he's a calm, cool, collected type that doesn't get surprised easily, and has spent the past several years travelling across the States, researching the paranormal (note - he should NOT look like Luke Perry... new casting 😉). Anyway, Pike somehow is brought back into the fold, and a relationship between him and Buffy is developed, albeit one with tension at first, later leading to a trusting friendship. Oh, and Pike should have a katana blade, and a variety of scars all over his torso, arms, and legs.

- The Big Bad of S8 should be human, to contrast The First Evil, IMO. Someone with some sort of vendetta against Buffy, who meticulously plots to destroy every single aspect of her life and drive her insane. This individual manages to somehow, over the course of the season, drive Buffy away from her friends, ruin her career, destroy her home, and convince Dawn to betray her. My vote? The Mayor's wife. Remember the Mayor? Imagine a creepy, stereotypical Suzie Homemaker-type, like Donna Reed with the mother of all sadistic streaks. Demons and other supernatural creatures could be involved, but only tangetically - I mean this is a purely human hatred, one that pushes Buffy to the absolute edge, and allows her to discover just how strong she really can be (we all know that, but she sure has her doubts, at times 😉).

- Buffy is bitten by a werewolf. No long, drawn-out explanation - just The Slayer with full moon fever. This would allow Oz to either be introduced, or maybe take center stage to help Buffy control it. Obviously, this wouldn't be a permanent thing, but perhaps a three-episode arc.

- Lilith, the mother of all vampires. Again, just a scenario. Could be a one-episode deal, or a short arc. There's some biblical stuff involving Lilith that we can play around with. Playing around with the Bible is fun!

I'd like to hear some feedback on any of these, if the project is still a go. If the project is underway and I missed some sort of recruitment/deadline, I thank you for your time, and wish you the best.

-DD

P.S. I'm all for Kendra's return, too. 😀

Double Post (next time use the edit button!):

Oh, and let me also suggest a two-episode crossover with Smallville. Trust me, it would work. I have literally dozens of ideas about this. I'm a big Superman geek. 😎

Those are great ideas Dariodevil. I personally love everything except the Smallville deal. Other people like that whole series crossover concept though. Maybe you've got a winner.

Hey, remember that Senator guy, from the end of Primeval, what if the mayor's wife took over his job, and what if she was a supplicant to Lilith. Lilith was the biblical mother of all demons, correct?

Love the Pike thing. Buffy and Pike on a hog: great image. Wouldn't Buffy have to be restricted to guest spots though, or would you be ignoring the whole "Sarah quit" thing?

Here's another proposal. This thread seems to be dedicated to a "randomly submitted scripts, following an indeterminate arc" idea.

If you want I'll splinter off, and do your idea with you. You can be Joss, and I'll be Marty.
