I was just watching some extras on my DVD's and his accent is crazy?!. Does it throw anyone else off? I think he should stick with his British accent 😉.
Also quiet a interesting interview thing.

Lol, it made me laugh when i first heard it. Mainly cause it was strangely similar to mine, the English kid who went to live in california. Though mines now returned to English now that i've been over here. His fake english does sound better though ha
 
His accent is so messed up, I love it. I know he'd spent a lot of time in England when he was growing up, but I'm still shocked at how well he does the accent.
 
I never watched an interview with him until after I'd watched all of both Buffy and Angel, I had completely forgotten that he wasn't actually British and got all confused for a moment and then remembered. I like his Brit accent though, quite good.
 
I always knew he was American, but despite, I was still a bit thrown off when I saw him in last weeks Dollhouse episode. Its weird; you get so used to an actor playing a certain character, it kind of surprises you when you see them in another role!
 
I was a bit thrown off when I head his voice is Dollhouse but I recognized it as him the minute I heard it. I actually wasn't looking at the TV at the time. :lmao: When I heard him my attention went straight there. Alexis is my favorite actor. I really wish he would do more parts but I understand that he doesn't want to leave his little girl alone.
 
When I first heard Alexis wasn't really British I was shocked. He does the accent so WELL... Alexis is a damn good actor, too, 'cause I remember hearing in one of the commentaries how he went to Joss and explained that he thought it was more natural for the character if the accent sort of changed over the years, the way it sometimes does for people who move to a different country. I was like "Wow." 😀
 
Well he did used to live in Britain for a while. That was how he met ASH so it isn't entirely faked.
 
Alexis does do a great English accent (as far as I can tell, anyway - I'm not English myself so I'm probably not the best judge). If anything, his real American accent sounds less natural than his fake English one.
