Actress to voice Buffy in the animated series?

Ok, I know tvtome is not a very reliable source, but this really makes sense to me. They are reporting(although they say it is still unconfirmed)that Giselle Loren will play Buffy in the new animated series. She is the actress who voiced Buffy in the video games. For any of you who haven't played the videogames, let me tell you that her portrayal of Buffy is spot on. It actually fooled me at first into thinking that it was really SMG. Probably the thing that worried me the most about the animated series was whether or not the voice acting would sound right. I guess I just felt that if Buffy sounded different than what I am used to, the animated series would just feel like a cheap crappy cartoon imitation of Buffy. An empty shell of the show I love, thrown together just to get another buck out of me. Hey maybe it still will be, but if Giselle is voicing Buffy, at least it is going to sound like Buffy, and that fear can be laid to rest.
 
I've posted an article about it in Latest News and Announcements...If she's really gonna do it I'll be happy and eager to see the results🙂
 
It is sometimes hard to determine where things should go on this board. There are so many different sections that threads like this could apply to. Also, I thought that this news warranted a thread of its own, and not part of the thread that announced that the Buffy toon was coming back. I guess that could be due to how much I love the Buffy games. Anyways though, I thought it was pretty big news considering that it was about who was going to voice our favorite slayer....or well...some peoples favorite slayer.....I mean, I'm more of a Faith kinda guy....and there was Kendra...don't figure many people liked her what with her really crappy fake accent and all....oh yeah...and all the potentials that became slayers. Well it's regarding a slayer that a really good chunk of people really like.

The best way is do either do a search on the topic or check the news and announcements forum to see if it is already posted elsewhere 🙂
