There is now a new option for sale in the store - non Buffy etc. avatars.

Purchasing this item will give you access to over 2500 additional avatars for your use.

These include (but are not limited to) Charmed, Roswell, Smallville, X-Files, and Lord of the Rings.

While kind of on topic will it ever be possible to purchase to have your own avatar, either normal size or bigger? Cheers. :babe:

With the new function each member can have their own avatar as when you select it no one else can use it. As we've said in the past if there is a specific image that you want to be added then contact us but we cannot promise that it will be added. There are no plans to change the size of the member avatars as that is one of the main things that make the staff more identifiable on the boards.
 
No plans for that, as that is a perk for staff for the work that they do.

Plus there are several other reasons why custom avatars do not work.

This sounds awesome! How do we buy things? Do we have to PM you or something? And how much does it "cost" to get one of those avs?
 
How much does it cost, though, because it doesn't seem to say and I don't want to have to keep withdrawing my money to see if I have enough.
