Kean is right. Buffy hated the smell...not just the smoking smell. She told me as well.Other smells as well. I am discreet and I didn't ask what she meant!

Also, the radioactive hair...she had a problem with that. She always had a thing for darker coloured hair.

You're grabbin' at straws, love. Just admit it. All of your verve and enthusiasm don't count for much, cause you're backin' the wrong couple. You bought a ticket on the wrong ship. You drew to an inside straight and went busted. You took your best shot and missed. Bangel has been weighed and found wanting. Angel is much ado about nothing. Bangel is like the babbling of a fool, filled with sound and fury, signifying nothing. Angel is the poster boy for short term relationships...

And other stuff like that, but even worse.
 
Can't imagine this idea actually worked. But while were at it could you genocide a pairing that I actually can't stand like... Cangel or possibly Killow

Ahem. Excuse me young man!
I like Spuffy I just like Bangel more. And I like Dangel more than both of 'em.
Besides why would I lean towards Spuffy when I know Bangel will prevail in the end? Doesn't make a whole lot of sense

As tempting as a lobotomy sounds, I think I'll pass.

Bangel continues to strive while this "cause" maintains its 100% failure rate.

I don't know why so many people hate Bangel. I use to hate Spuffy, but a few months ago I gave it another chance and realized I like the idea of ensouled Spike and Buffy but not Spuffy in S5 or S6 of BTVS. It's just Bangel feels believable to me whereas Spuffy because of James and Sarah feels somewhat fake to me, IMO they don't have all that good acting chemistry

The thread was all in good fun for both Bangels and Spuffies. While Bangel may be hated, that is not what this thread was for. It was for both sides to express their dislike or like for the ship in a healthy and light manner.

It's not that we hate Bangel. It's that we love our Bangel friends and want to lead them into the true light that is Spuffy

I love both Bangel and Spuffy ships, i'll say that first of of all. However i felt a need to comment when you say that James and Sarah don't have all that good acting chemistry.

As a fan of Spuffy that mystifies me. The repore Sarah and James had right from the start of the show i thought was so obvious.

You look at scenes as early back as season 2, "becoming" part 2 for instance when they decide to work together that scene is great to watch and a perfect example of them playing off one another so well.

As the show progressed if you look at season 4 the way Buffy mocked Spike, some of them scenes in the bathtub were hilarious.

Finally if you look at season 7 for instance surely you saw the chemistry there. You've got the scene at the church, the sleeper episode and there is numerous more.

James and Sarah for me were fantastic together, they didn't have as much romantic chemistry as Sarah and David in my opinion but they were still great playing lovers and perhaps had even better chemistry when they fought.

For me, I hated Bangel by s3 because I hated how both the characters of Buffy and Angel became when they were together. I loved them in the first 2 seasons, but I couldn't stand them after that. And I've posted my reasons for loving Spuffy in other threads so I won't go into it here 🙂

Also, SMG and JM had no good acting chemistry? Are you kidding, lol? They were great together throughout the series! Part of the reason why Spuffy worked so well, for me at least, is because they had amazing chemistry! 🙂
