Adopt me?

Well, I think I'd like to be adopted. (I think... what does this adoption thing mean exactly?) I've been a Buffy fan and Spuffy shipper for YEARS, I don't know why I never signed up here. Talk about a delayed reaction! (Like, delayed by 8 years.)


ANYWHO, I'm a night owl, so I figure posting at 3am should hopefully get me a night owl mentor/parent/sire-y figure.

Basically adoption is you get 'adopted' by another member and they can help you out, show you the ropes, answer any questions, be a friend etc... 🙂

You should get sorted, too, if you haven't already put your name down. It's like in Harry Potter in that there's four houses, and you want to be in Vahla Ha'nesh or VH because that's THE place to be! 😀

Buffy is my favorite female and Spike my favorite male. Don't ask me to choose between them though, I have never been able to! As for my name, I always thought it would be... well, interesting to say the least, to see Buffy as an evil character.

There are four houses or dorms (Merrick, Drogyn, Raiden and Vahla Ha'nesh) and members can choose to be 'sorted' (randomly placed in one of them). Within your house you can chat and play games with other members in your house. It's a great way to get to know people. There's also a kind of playful rivalry between the houses and we battle to earn points. At the end of the year, whichever house has the most wins.

Just write that you want to be sorted and you will be, though probably not immediately.

But you don't have to be sorted if you don't want to. 🙂
