OK, nothing major, but I really want to get my nose pierced.

I don't know if it's being like, "Hell yeah, I can still be a teenager", with my twentieth coming up in a couple of weeks, but whatever.

What I want advising on, is that:
I have both my ears pierced, I used to only be able to wear gold, or my ears would get all gross and start hurting. Now I seem to be able to wear whatever (fingers crossed).

I also got my cartilage (the top bit of my ear) pierced, and it went all funny and didn't properly heal, however I used to work at Claire's Accessories/Bow Bangles (so I'm a qualified piercer) and I did it myself, so I don't know if that was a factor.

However, I'm worried that my nose will get horribly scarred if it doesn't take to the metal. Is there anything other than 9ct gold that can be recommended for people who might be funny with it? Is titanium better?

Thanks in advance 😀 xox

Also, I'd like to know if you think they look nice, if that's not too much to ask! I'm aware I've asked loads of questions in this thread.

I think it will look nice on you!
I don't use anything fancy I just use the simple nose rings from Claire's and Walmart and it is fine. The nose seems to be the easiest of piercing at least in my case. The nose ring I started with was obviously an earing I just warn you to wait to use the screw in nose rings until it is completely healed (unless that is what they pierce it with at the professional)

I think you should get it my mom did mine and everything worked out so don't worry.

About the cartilage mine didn't heal correctly either! I swear I have heard so many people say that. I think it is that particular spot.

I have an allergy like that too. I got my ears double pierced with titanium, and my ears tried to reject the metal by pulling it backwards through my ear. It was a bloody, messy, infection, but when I put gold in it, it was fine. It cleared up in a few days. I'd recommend going with the gold.

Strangely, I have steel in my tongue, and that's never bothered me.

Same here my tongue has never been a problem.
