Aftermath/Blood and Trenches

^^To me that pretty much says to me that Aftermath isn't canon at all.
 
Did i understand that right? That woman and Brian are both gonna write a follow up to After the Fall and we choose which one we want to believe is canon? *confused*

It's not like they will be contradictory, but since they are not penned by Joss their canon status is questionable. Joss-approved does not a canon story make. Sometimes.
 
It sounds like she will be writing one arc and Brian another - a bit like how Buffy season 8 works. Also, sounds like it will have Joss' seal of approval, just like After the Fall has. To me, it sound as canon as After the Fall. She seems to think that if its not personally penned by Joss Whedon the the canonical authenticity is questioned but she also assures us that it will have official approval. At this stage i have no problems with it and just hope she knows how to write the characters.
 
I'm with Tranquility. From her post I gathered that Aftermath is going to be similar to in set up to Buffy Season 8, with different writers doing different arcs. Kelley and Brian being the first ones announced.

I also think that she thinks it is canon, but that she's okay with people dismissing it, if they choose to. Which a lot of people do with all of the comics.
 
Personally, Armstrong sounds like she has zero confidence in her abilities, so she's saying that if it sucks, oops!

Regardless of her retarded as hell words regarding her job, I'm excited. And curious about what Joss has to say about canon.
