The success of the Avengers movie sure have changed things. A Whedon show has never been treated this well. Or at least air on a chanel more or less anyone can watch plus just 9 days after the original premier. The show will air on Kanal 5 (Chanel 5) starting October 3rd, 21.00 (9 p.m.). 🙂

No Whedon show has ever been based on a movie recognized as the biggest blockbuster in history, either. I'm sure that that has more to do with the current ad campaign than anything else. I haven't seen a single mention that "Agents Of S H I E L D" is produced by the creator of "Buffy" and "Firefly" anywhere. As big fans of Joss as we are, this is appealing to the Avengers fans, rather than the Joss fans.

That's awesome! I assume they will be showing the original version?
I hate dubbing. It often makes the acting sound fake and exaggerated. They're currently showing the original language versions of Homeland and House of Cards on German TV, but that's it.

All very true. I didn't mean the opposite in any way. Just that no matter the reason, the best treated Whedonshow in Sweden. If they'd mention earlier shows here Buffy and Dollhouse would probably be the ones being mentioned. For the vast majority he'll from now on first be associated with The Avengers no matter where in the world you are.

"We" only dub shows and movies for kids or families. When it comes to movies you'll most likely have a chance to chose if you want to watch the original or dubbed version if you watch it at the cinema. Considering the air time for this show we don't even have to worry about it getting dubbed.
