So I am having this beautiful dream, I'm talking epic quality wonderful when suddenly I am shocked into consciousness by this most offensive and annoying sound. Upon recognizing it as my alarm clock, my body moves in its most automated fashion toward the sound, seeking to stamp it out. Upon successfully finding the snooze button, I almost gleefully return across the room to the warm comfort awaiting me back in bed. But the is one more obstacle between myslef and my prize. My dog. She is sleeping in the place that was meant to contain a lover, but that is another story. I love my dog, she adds to the warmth. I do not, however, want to take the effort to go around her, so in my barely conscious brilliance, I decide to go over her. Yes. I will gracefully dive over her and back into my still warm, happy place. So without thinking or calculating (physics never was my strong subject) I launch myself over her gliding toward my bed and back to dreamland. As I sailed though the air and toward the bed I began to realize that I had overshot the bed. I was now on a clear trajectory to collide with the wall. I began to grab madly for anything that might stall this impending impact, and there it was, my bedside lamp. It in its tiny glory will be my saviour. I reach out to it grabbing it, praying it will hold. It does not. No, the lamp, and the entire contents of my very messy bed side table follow me as I bounce into the wall and land in that tiny space between my bed and the wall. The lamp shade now rests, disconnected on my head, and my dog intrigued by the commotion I have caused is now towering over me, standing in the place on my bed that I was definetly not in. At this point I, and possibly the neighbors am/are fully awake. But, you ask if you are still reading my woeful tale of miscalculation, did I get up? No! I crawled triumphantly, pushing my sleeping companion back to her side of the bed, into my now cold place, and closed my eyes only to be greeted again by the harsh noise that began my adventure.

LMAO! A tale of adventure even before you've had breakfast. Alarms clocks should be banned! We should all just wake up when we wake up.

HAHA! Yes, alarm clocks pure evil.
lol, Ugh I hate alarm clocks, I hate setting mine, It puts me in a bad mood being waken up that way!

I know! I love weekends when I can just wake up whenever. So...anybody else got any amusing stories to share?

Ohh actually, I once had a dream where I was walking through my house, and the whole time I could hear this noise, but it was really low. Anyway I walked out the front door and it was really sunny(Which is weired cuz I live in Ireland 🙂) and I walked across the driveway to the other side, where there is a wall that would be about the height of a table, and I look down and my hone is there and it's ringing, which is the noise I was hearing, which got louder when I went outside, So I pick up the phone and answer the call, putting the phone to my ear and say "Hello".

Then I wake up, and it was a really gentle wake up, and the alarm was going off, the alarm from my mobile, playing the same tone I had just herd in my dream!
It was really strange.

I only have one story of me waking up. Theres a bunch more of me waking up other people but there all mean and violent.
But my story is I was up all night working on some essay. I figured I would get some sleep before school. So i headed upstairs and climbed in bed. I soon fell asleep. Then in what felt like a minute later my alarm went off. Instead of hitting snooze like I usually do I got made and threw my alarm to the other side of the room. But my alarm clock is one of the ones that you plug into the wall so it didn't go too far. But throwing it moved the extension chord that the alarm plus a few other things were running off of. That caused everything to fall on the ground making a lot of noise and waking everyone up. fun fun fun.

and i wanna hear the angry waking other people up stories!
i suppose i can tell these. Just a note to people, I am normally not this violent.
The first one was when I was 7 or something. I woke up on Saturday and went down stairs for a while. I eventually got hungry. And being 7 I was not allowed to get my own food. So I needed to go wake up my stepdad. So I headed up stairs, went to my room and got my nerf gun and the went to his room. I stood at the door and pelted him with the nerf bullets till he got up. He was kinda angry, but I got breakfast so it was cool.
Another time just happened the other day. Don't ask me why but I found a walnut on the floor of my house. And I needed to wake my cousin up for school(his mom was out of town so he was staying at my house). So I headed towards the guest room and wailed the walnut at him. He didn't get mad though. He is use to me abusing him.

More to come later if I can remeber any.

so i made this today, and this thread is turning into amusing things that are going on in your lives, so it is going here
