Alexis in Tv Guide's Cheers & Jeers (minor spoilers)

Spoilers if you haven't seen the season one finale of How I Met Your Mother!

Cheers to Alexis Denisof for his change-of-pace role as bombastic anchorman Sandy Rivers on How I Met Your Mother. Without the glasses and the English accent, Denisof doesn't seem anything like the guy who played stuffy Wesley Wyndam-Pryce in Buffy the Vampire Slayer (where he met his future wife--and Mother costar--Alyson Hannigan). Even though love object Robin (Cobie Smulders) hooked up with Ted (Josh Radnor), we hope we have seen the last of Sandy.

Was he not good as this characer? Why don't they want to see him again?

Alexis was the love interest for Robin, but Robin has hooked up with Ted, so what's the use for Alexis anymore? Personally, I'd rather see Robin with Sandy. Ted and Robin aren't supposed to be together anyway and Alexis's character is great!

I did love seeing him on HIMYM, his charachter was so funny. But I don't really see him coming back though, for me he felt like that kind of character that is in small doses.. On the other hand, I do love watching BtVS/Ats actors on TV..
