I don't remember much about it, but it was supposed to be like the story "Alice in Wonderland" but like in horror kind of way, or gothic or something. I think SMG would have been with a dark hair for that.

All you fans out there who’ve been anxiously awaiting more news on the forever-in-development adaptation of American McGee’s Alice videogame can finally rest easy; it ain't happening.
At least, not in the way it’s been discussed for the past few years. Sarah Michelle Gellar is no longer attached to the title role, Marcus Nispel is no longer directing, and Universal has washed its hands of it. So where does that leave the project? Back to zero, it would seem.
Producer Scott Faye spoke with Kotaku about the film recently and gave all the above updates along with the news that the film’s original scribes, Jon and Erich Hoeberand, are working on a new draft of the script as we speak. “I love the grown-up Alice in a horror story version of Wonderland,” Faye told the site, ”and knew instinctively that the project would have a commercial appeal easily discerned by the film studios because the character and mythology are so deeply ingrained into the collective psyche.”
And while all that may be true, it sure hasn’t helped speed up the film’s production at all, has it? Hopefully we’ll be hearing more on Alice in the near future!

Ugh, Anne Hathaway is everywhere nowdays.

I don't hate her, I just hate the fact that she's everywhere and takes parts from everybody (that sounded like something it's not. I don't mean she's harvesting organs, I mean she's been given too many roles in movies and such, so that nothing's left for other actresses).

Really? She hasn't really been in THAT many movies... And everything I've seen her in she was at least a good actress. 🙂
And it's too bad they never made this movie, seeing SMG as Alice in this gothic retelling would have been interesting.

I was actually looking forward to that movie. Too bad they scrapped it. That happened with too many of her movies and shows, like "The Wonderful Maladys". I'm still waiting for my US DVD release of "Veronika Decides To Die".

Literally, no. But lately she gets so many parts and they always talk about her and give her even more parts. She's even hosted the Oscars, and she's not even been around for that long, like other hosts of the Oscars. I know she's probably been acting ever since she was a little girl, but many actors in Hollywood have been too. And she already gets to host such event that only the biggest stars in Hollywood host? Because she's popular right now? Next thing you know, they'll give Kristen Stewart to host the Oscars.
I'm not saying she's not a good actress, and I don't hate her. It just annoys me, honest.

I forgot about that. Wasn't Halle Berry Catwoman before too? She's a much better fit. Anne is too delicate.
