In Entertainment Studio with Antonia Kidman
Antonia Kidman: Charmed has put a sexy twist on the timeless tail of witchcraft. Angela Bishop was invited on the LA set of the hit TV show to find out how the cast manage to work their magic over audiences across the globe.
Cut to Angela Bishop standing in the attic
Angela Bishop: As any fan of TV favourite Charmed would know I'm in the attic and it's not a place where many mere mortals get to wonder around. We're here to see what goes on behind the scenes of this bewitching show.
Cut to scene from the season five finale
Angela: [voice over] Right now you're getting a sneak peak at the action we'll see on ten next year when series six of Charmed hits our screens.
Cut to on the set of "My Three Witches"
---
Holly: Leo!
Leo: Freeze.
Rose: I turn him over and get Hershey's syrup all over him.
---
Cut to the Drew interview
Angela: Looks like you've had a bit of a rough day.
Drew: Heroin is very bad. I'm sh"¦ Dad's already (whispering and making cutting motion) stop it. Stop it. (studies fake blood on his shirt) No, um, yeah I got shot earlier this morning by uh, an arrow, a Darklighter arrow, which basically can kill a Whitelighter, which I am, so you know, I'm adjusting.
Cut to another scene of the season five finale
Angela: [voice over] The gang let us in on a couple of secrets coming up, so consider this a spoiler alert.
---
Piper: You're home. (hugs Leo)
---
Brian: It's a "¦ it's a new development for, uh, Piper and Leo, uh, their relationship is changing, uh, as well as Leo's relationship with the girls and the family and everything. And, uh, obviously I'm back, and thank god"¦ Um, everything changes out, I think every bodies, uh, their characters are, you know, just evolving and growing like normal people do.
Cut to the Drew interview
Drew: In the season finale, last year, you saw me basically quote, unquote, scatter Leo's orbs or kill him or whatever, you know, people started to assume. And uh, you know this season, obviously you just interviewed him, so he is back and uh, he was sent away, I put him somewhere for a while to sort of gain the girls trust a little bit and you know, it's kinda gone from there. So there's a lot of trust issues and there's a lot of things I'm still trying to get out of them without telling them, like my MO.
Cut to the Alyssa interview, she's holding Lucy her dog
Alyssa: You see Phoebe has a new power, she's an empath now, so she could feel what other people are feeling, um which I think will wind up growing throughout the season to uh, sort of take on, like the demon's powers, so she'll be able to have an active power, cause, Phoebe is the only one that doesn't really have an active power.
Cut to on the set of "My Three Witches"
Angela: [voice over] What you may also notice is Phoebe has a new haircut.
Cut to the Alyssa interview
Angela: And you've got a new do, and it looks fabulous.
Alyssa: Thank you, it's so crazy"¦
Angela: What was it like getting the chop.
Alyssa: It was ah, kinda anti-climatic, I thought I was gonna have a stronger reaction to it then I did, but, honestly, I just ah, I never felt more like myself, like I just looked in the mirror and I was like, "oh, yeah"¦"
Angela: And does that mean you've got less time in the make-up chair now, you can sleep in a bit.
Alyssa: Bonus! Yes, exactly, my call time is still the same but, I "¦ I get to hangout in my trailer for a little longer in the morning.
Cut to on the set of "My Three Witches"
Angela: [voice over] And new powers in one other sense, the three girls are now producers on the show, giving them some say in choosing the boys they get to play with.
Cut to the Rose interview
Rose: I'm pretty happy that there are any boys around, I'll tell you that much, you know, cause uh, it's just a good thing all around, the more boys the better.
Cut to the Drew interview
Drew: Very different, very strong personality women.
Cut to on the set of "My Three Witches"
Drew: [voice over] But I mean it's great because they've"¦Alyssa and Holly have, they've been doing this since they were, what, six, eight years old"¦
Cut to the Drew interview
Drew: "¦and Rose is so much fun, she's so quirky, and she always brings something new everytime.
Cut to the Rose interview
Rose: People always ask, "˜do you guys go hangout after work?' See, there is no after work. I go home for an hour, I wash up and I go to sleep and come back the next day. So you know, I don't know exactly who goes and hangs out after work, but they must have a smaller, shorter schedule then we do.
Cut to the Alyssa interview, showing a close up of Lucy
Angela: [voice over] But both Alyssa and Rose, do have time for their dogs. Alyssa's little Lucy comes on set, while Rose's requires some more special treatment.
Cut to the Rose interview
Rose: One was just out of a long hospital stay, she's "¦ she's like the Liz Taylor of dogs. We had to in fact wean her off drugs, so she became a drug addict. That was a bad thing and uh, she's had "¦ she's probably a $100,000 if not more, this dog right now, but she's the love of my life.
Cut to the Alyssa interview
Angela: Say bye-bye to Australia Lucy, do a little wave for us.
Alyssa: Say bye, bye Australia, maybe we'll come see you.
