This was the Season Finale for Season Three and which forever changed the Halliwell sisters.

Does it still get to you on some emotional level when you catch it on reruns on TNT as it did the first time you watched it?

I saw it for the first time last year and was blown (no pun intended) away by Shannen's acting and directing of the episode and the way it ended. It still got to me when I saw it last week and didn't think it would.

I think a lot has to do with the bond of sisterhood that has always been my favorite aspect of the show. That through no matter what, they still survive as long as they have each other and seeing what happens to Prue was shocking. : yikes : 🙁

I thought this was a good season finale, one of the best that Charmed has done! It definately is one of the most memorable episodes. I liked all the sisters performances and Prue was exceptional. Its a shame that Shannon didn't want to continue with Charmed, but I think the opening of Season 4 follows on from the finale really well.

i remember watching this episode on its original air date. it was quite powerful and i must admit i was moved to tears. Shannen and Holly gave wonderful performances in their roles and I think this episode was THE LINE OF DEMARCATION between the classic, well written episodes of seasons 1-3 and the crap that started in season 4 and has continued since.

Watching this episode on TNT ....i did feel a pang of emotion but mostly because it was a reminder that Prue/Shannen was no longer on the show after this episode.

I have to say that for me, this was a highly enjoyable episode. It had action, and it was not predictable. At the time, I'd read no spoilers, but I think I had a suspicion at the time that Shannen was leaving the show. Actually, I remember now... I was in Spain at the time, watching it on the Spanish broadcast of the UK channel Living TV. I remember the adrenaline pumping as I watched it 😉

Exciting, well acted, and with an ending that I am forever thankful for... its possibly one of the best episodes of charmed.

Oh, All Hell Breaks Loose. My favourite episode. It had wits and then when Alice (I think? :$) shot Piper, it was amazing how that happened. Exactly when Prue snapped her fingers, it was great. I also thought the acting was superb, Piper actually looked like she was dying and Shannen really played the role well. She became the character which is what every acting proffesor or actor wants. That's kind of off topic though. :$
