There's no real other option than Willow and Tara. But I do like Spuffy occasionally. I go from being a mad shipper of those two to not really caring. Oooh and I loved Giles and Jenny. Cute.

Yeah, I've always thought of the Spangel-ness as a brotherly relationship more then one filled with tension. Spuffy is, of course, my number one, followed by Tillow (nothing beats that, I've never met anyone who's against it), Cangel, and Xanya.

My favourite couple would be Sprusilla, closely followed by Spuffy & Xanya. I also like the not so very couple-ness of Cangel, and ofcourse Tillow (but since eveyone is all over them, I can't help but don't like them. It's just my personality. I only watched the Lion King when I was 11ish, because when I was younger everyone loved it so much😉 )

I know there's a big Tillow following on here, and dont hate me for saying so....But i never was a huge fan of Tillow. Even though Tara was very nice and good to Willow, I found her character extremely annoying at times...So I guess Im not a Tillow shipper!!

I find most people who are Bangels watched the show from the beginning, old school fans, and Spuffies found the show after Angel left.

Alot people are finding the show be accident on reruns and stuff and since there are more seasons withouth Angel than with him the it's more likely you miss the first 3 seasons.

To be honest I think it is just this board with the overpopulation of Spuffies. Bangel is a force of nature throughout the net.

Hmmm. I mean I would only frequent Bangel themed sites so to me it feels that there is still a huge Bangel presence on the net. I don't think it really matters anyway, the number of fans a ship has isn't going to determine what happens with that ship. Killow, anyone?

I don't want to make this into a Bangel vs Spuffy thing because we have covered this too many times but I genuinely believe given all the evidence presented on the show and in interviews Joss and other writers have given that in the end Bangel will prevail.

One might say that those of us who joined the series late didn't have our vision clouded the memory of an adolescent fling misinterpreted by the "fling-ees" as the real thing and accepted by part of the audience the same way.

And as for the "overpopulation" of Spuffies here, couldn't that be simply as an indication that the majority of us see the real truth rather than clinging to an outdated delusion?

Seriously, the whole thing gets down to an argument I often have with a very dear friend. I prefer my steak well done, while he swears that anything other than rare ruins the taste of the beef. It's all, of course, just a matter of taste, and we both accept that, but we still have a lot of fun coming up with new arguments as to why our own choice has the most merit. Spuffy vs Bangel? Well done vs rare?

As for me, it's well done and Spuffy. If someone else wants to make the wrong choice, that's up to them. But they're missing the best choice.
