If there were a Joss Whedon flavored cable TV channel, would you watch it? Do you think anyone else would?

OK it sounds a little nutty. I know this. But think about it a bit...

It wouldn't just be Buffy/Angel reruns every day, although they'd be there. There'd be Firefly of course, and you'd have to follow the careers of important Whedonverse contributors. So you'd want stuff like Wonderfalls, or Alias and of course Tru Calling because of the Minear/Goddard/Petrie/Espenson/Dushku thing.

Here's some other stuff you might find on such a station:

* Movies with a Whedonverse connection: Cruel Intentions, True Lies, American Pie, Aliens Resurrection, Toy Story, Serenity when it's available etc.

* Specials like a charity concert of Buffy music at Carnegie hall, or telethons with Whedonvers cast members appearing and performing.

* First run TV series with Whedonverse contributors like this season's upcoming series Lost by David Fury.

* At least one Spin-off

* Buffy animated

* Fray animated (OK I just popped that one in, because it's on my fantasy wish-list)

Oh i'd definatly watch that, i'd even get cable for the sole purpose of having that channel!

Also any talk shows that they appear on would be a plus, all pieced together on one channel.

Yeah but only the eps they're on, otherwise it would be a talk show station.

Anyway yes, I would watch it lots.

Kitchy, Kitchy, ya, ya, oody... Creole lady, Marma Ly-y-y-y-de.

And then he goes into his opening monologue.

And on the opening show Charisma, Alexis, and J August sing We Are the Champions.

I'd best stop now. This is too much fun.

😀 I have this image in my head now! Shame they killed evil lawyer boy, he could have sung. Oooh! members of the audience should get up and he reads them 😀

It's OK. On my imaginary talk show Christian could still appear.

Can you imagine Lorne interviewing Joss?

Ok then then i'm happy 😀

I think the Joss and Lorne interview would be very amusing, Joss has a great sense of humor and might even do a duet with him.

You should pitch this to the network 😉 Make all our dreams come true!

I'd only pitch it to the All-Whedon station, and here's what I'd say:

It's a weekly half hour variety-talk show kind of thing that entertains as well as informs viewers on what's happening in the Whedonverse. Think Muppet Show/Wayne's World, and remember "Self-respect is good for everybody".

And heres what I'd say:

"Think Graham Norton, but green!"

Lorne would never be that mean...

BTW,

"Fray animated (OK I just popped that one in, because it's on my fantasy wish-list)"

Marry me.
