And WOW, has it really been a month nearly since I updated?!... 🙁 That'll be the kids keeping me busy mostly!

I've only got a couple of things to post, but hopefully you'll like them. 🙂

The first is a Nathan Fillion piece:-

And the second is a BtVS piece featuring Willow, called 'Passion', which I made earlier for a Merrick graphic challenge ( I think it's ok to post it here... ):-

The NF one is really cool, love the Pics and the layout!

But the Passion one is Awesome!!!! I love the colours, I love the pics and the quote is perfect!!

It's just beautiful!!

Aww thanks hon, I have to admit, that's the first piece I've made in AGES, that I've really been pleased with, so I'm chuffed to bits that you like it too! :D

It was quite simple really. 🙂

Just take an image, like the one I have here - Step 1.

Add effects to your image as you like. Step 2.

Then use a texture over the top, create a layer mask on that texture, and using a brush of your choice, in black, you can uncover the bits of the image you want to, then whilst the Layer Mask is still selected, go to Filter-> Blur-> Gaussian Blur-> set between 10-25, depending on how you want it to look. This softens the surrounding edge. Step 3.

Then you can repeat this process with other textures, effects etc till you have the result you want. Step 4.
 
wow, your stuff is awesome, edb!! can't believe i never noticed the dander wall before, i love that piece. it's so dark!! great.
i'm gonna give that little mini tut a try...i have PSP, but i'm gonna TRY...lol!

It should still work for PSP I think, you may have to tweak it slightly but the principals applies. :)
Smallish update, working on a few more at the moment, so will post when done. My muse has been on vacation lately, so I've not really made anything for a while.
