Thanks guys, I have got a new Eliza wallpaper to show you, but as I've had to re-join, I have to wait until I've got 15 posts to be able to post urls again. 'lol'

I'm the karma godfather. Trying to give all fellow Merrickans back their karma:)
I'm glad you guys like the ED wall, I was quite pleased with how it turned out, as I'm not so good with dark wallpapers. 😀

Re:

Ohhhh! *drool* I looove it! It's so very dark and seductive....yummy!:firedevil

I really love your ED wallpaper. The effects on it are well done. The background looks amazing and I love the darkness on it. The only thing that bugs me is the placement of the text and the sets of different fonts and fontsizes you used. It makes an un-organized impression. I would have preferred it closer together and only one or 2 words epmhasized with a different font/size. But that's a personal preference I guess. Other than that, amazing 🙂

Thanks! :) You have no idea how long I spent agonizing over what text and where to put it etc 'lol' I agree though, nothing like hindsight, eh! ;)
This isn't new stuff but I can't edit my old posts, and I have had to change the url of some of the art I posted, due to people stealing my images *sighs*

So, I'm just reposting the same work with the new urls:-

Well I love your work...and I love these banners! :D
Your work is amazing. I really like it and I'm sorry to hear about your images being stolen, my friends site has had the same problem with some of my headers and buttons being stolen off her site, so I know how you feel.

The Charisma Banner is my favourite, I like how you got the pictures in the little shapes. I would love to know how you did it.

It really wasn't that difficult to do.😉 Here's a quick step by step for Photoshop for it. 🙂

  1. First select your images - it works better if they have the same solid background colour. 😉 Step 1
  2. Then add them in layers to your background (banner), and arrange them how you want them. Step 2
  3. Create a new layer. Step 3
  4. Go to Select - All
  5. The go to Edit - Stroke
  6. Select how many pixels deep you want your border to be, and the colour, I choose red to match Eliza's top, and a 5 pixel deep border.
  7. Select - Deselect
  8. Next whilst still on the same layer:-
  9. Select Lasso Tool --> Polygonal Lasso Tool Step 4
  10. Select a colour to use.
  11. On the new layer you create, use the Lasso tool to create divisions:-
  12. You will now have some areas selected. Step 5
  13. Got to Edit - Fill Step 6
  14. Select either the foreground colour - or you can use another colour, or pattern etc
  15. Then click 'OK'. You selected areas will now be filled, giving the impression of the images being in shapes.
  16. Remember to Select - then Deselect again.
  17. Create a new layer to add your brushes etc to finish off. Step 7

Of course when you use the Lasso tool, you could also use the stroke, after you've used the Fill, that way you sort of get a double border effect around the selected areas like I did on the Eliza one:-

Oooo thank you! I visited your site today and took some textures I then followed one of your tutorials for it. I made a cool wallpaper, it's a shame it's not buffy or angel or else I'd post it here. You are great at explaining things!
For a request:-
