Geek out at Allentown Comic Con

Stars from "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "Power Rangers," "Power Puff Girls," "and more are coming to the Lehigh Valley's largest comic convention.
The Great Allentown Comic Con packs a punch with all things sci-fi, animation and comic book July 12 at Merchant's Square Mall in Allentown. The show includes costume contests, panel discussions, artists and vendors.
Meet Roger Jackson, the voice of Power Puff Girl "Mojo Jojo" and the "Scream" movie serial killer Ghostface, who will discuss what it is like to be part of such cult icons. "Rocko's Modern Life" cartoonist Carol "Cotty" Kilbanks will discuss the processes that go into the creation of animation shows.
Join former "Buffy" star Nicholas Brendon, and current "Buffy the Vampire" artist Rebekah Isaacs as they discuss what it is like to work on one of the most influential properties of the past 20 years.
Meet Austin St. John, the original leader of the "Power Rangers," and fellow Ranger Karan Ashley.
A panel of cosplay contest judges will talk about costume ideas to final creation and execution.
Nick Mockoviak, a freelance illustrator who has done art for projects like the "Night of the Living Dead: Re-Animated" film, will teach how to draw with markers.
The family-friendly event also includes the rolling game station, a truck that is transformed into a gaming cave with different game systems and theater-like seating, an activity suitable for child and adult gamers alike.
