Allergies

I get a bad sneeze every once in a while where I'm sneezing pretty much for 48 hours straight and my nose is runny.

I think it's pollen related.

I am definitely allergic to dander/pollen/ragweed/animal hair

I've never been prone to allergies except for the one where cheap jewellery makes your skin turn black. But recently (ever since the sun came out) I've been sneezing so much, so I think I might have developed an oversensitivity to pollen. Mayfever's got hayfever, how hilarious is that? -_-

Oh I forgot! I have the jewellery thing as well (though it's never made my skin turn black). I've never been tested, but I think it is the nickel because that's the most common and my grandmother is allergic to it. It only started in my late teens, and now my ears get irritated if I wear bad earrings for a day, and I used to get a rash from my cheap watch clasp.

Luckily a lot of jewellery these days is nickel free - even the cheap stuff!

I'm allergic to penacillin, as well as stupid people.

Recently, within the past month, I've developed a new allergy out of no where. Whatever it is, it causes me to break out in itchy hives the size of dimes all over my body. I saw a doctor last week and she couldn't figure it out, so I'm going to a dermatologist...then to an allergist.

Ironically, the doctor perscribed meds for me to take to keep me from itching until I can diagnose the new allergy. Well, my body didn't take to kindly to it and I ended up having an allergic reaction to the medicine I was taking for an allergic reaction. I had to be sent home from work, picked up embarrassingly by my mom (i'm almost 23)....and...yeah, it sucks.

I'm allergic to yak hair. Kinda random considering there's no yaks here. That's like my fun getting to know you fact that I pull out far too often. It's a stupid allergy. When am I gonna run into a yak? 'Cept from that one time when some fool gave me a hat made out of yak hair. But then again, if they hadn't I'd have lived on in ignorance of my lame allergy. It was a pretty cool hat though. Worth it.

Im also kinda semi-just-a-tiny-bit allergic to some soaps. Not in really bad way but just in a "oh, that soap kinda makes me itch" way. Nothing major. Oh and I sometimes get a little hayfevery.

Other than that I have no clue if there's anything else I'm allergic to.

I'm allergic to M&M's. Honestly. They give me a nasty, itchy red rash. BUT, peanut M&M's are also my favorite candy, so sometimes I just put up with it, lol.

I'm also allergic to certain kinds of shampoo, mostly the stuff specifically designed for colored hair. Which I have! Though I don't use that, lol. Angry red welts on your scalp continuously is not pleasant.

M&M...really? Wow..that must be hard. M&M are awesome, I would eat them anyway if I was allergic.
I think dust is the only thing I am allergic to. Even then it would take a great deal of dust to encourage a reaction from me. Yet another added benefit of growing out of my Asthma!

Not really an allergy, but I'm very sensitive to pepper. When it's around me I always sneeze.

I'm not allergic to anything, but I have four dogs (who are very annoying) and they make my skin itch and I tend to sneeze.

Umm.... so you are allergic :)
I'm allergic to all metals.

I'm not allergic to pollen, but this time of year it is so thick in the air that it is like walking through a yellow dust cloud, so I react like I would if I was in a dust storm on days (like every day this week) where the pollen count was "extremely high" and I disobeyed the recommendation that everyone ought to stay inside with doors and windows closed. I wouldn't call that an allergy though.

As far as I know I'm not allergic to anything, I used to get Hayfever but haven't for that couple of summers

TaylorSwift agrees: I'm one of those people Zobo, you shouldn't laugh at me! Oh and allergies aren't defined by crappy immune system, at all.
Ok, I won't laugh at you... just because you've met Taylor and that makes you super awesome!

And yes they are... Allergies are where your immune system thinks something that is not a disease is a diseases and goes to fight it. It means you haven't built up immunity to things you should have. Some allergies are strictly genetic... but most would be at the very least lessened by a better immune system. (this is why it's actually NOT healthy to sterilize every surface your child touches when they're little. You have to expose them to germs and things that could make them sick while their immune systems are developing.)

I'm allergic to Penicillin and cats pretty badly. I've been highly allergic to Penicillin since I was a baby, and have tried it a few times since and still makes me break out in a rash. Cats are gross. Stupid cats. They make me teary and bloat my face and sneeze a million times.

Also get BRUTAL hayfever to the point where I can't move out of a hot bath cause sinus's are just so clogged and gross. So I guess I have an allergy to pollen? It's unfortunate because I absolutely love spring time in Perth. It's so beautiful - unfortunately with my bloated face and streaming nose - I am not quite so beautiful.

I'm allergic to cats! But I have one and I love her very very much. ♥

I'm also allergic to dust and pollen, but who isn't?
