LOL I know!! I used to get so mad when I wanted, say, a phone and it was only available in the UK! I've seriously thought many times that I needed to live in the UK. 🙂

LOL, I'm the opposite. There have been dozens of times when I've wanted something, and I can't have it 'cause it's US only.

But that only serves to make me more determined to actually live in the States, lol.

I understand. There's so many times I want to buy anything I want, but they only sell it in US.

But I prefer Paul Scholes iPod to anyone's(if he had one).

There is always a way...you just have to have a friend that lives in the UK that goes to London to visit or has people in London that could acquire it and post it up....oh wait....you do 😉
 
The title confused me, I was worried about what I was heading into; but this thread is a lot tamer than I expected. 😛

Pssh, who wants an iPod signed by a footballer, anyway? In my opinion, football is pointless. Guys kicking a ball around a field? Whoopie. 😉

But I get the annoyingness of things only being available in certain countries, I get so annoyed when I want to buy something and it only goes to the US, or I want to watch something online and can't because it only shows in the US.

Dont feel bad Anya I dont like football all that much either, Although I do watch it on Thanksgiving because it feels thanksgivingy and I do go to games when in Alabama cause otherwise your likely to get something thrown at you.

As for the whole thing with the US and UK. The only thing I ever want that I dont get is the cool BB meetups in London and all the Buffy conventions over there... It sucks real bad i'm always jealous of you guys and many times I wished I could move over there... One day I'll visit I hope 🙁

I remember the days of real midfielders that were more likely to imbed a boot into your forhead at the mere suggestion of this kinda thing.

I suppose that's just part an parcel of following real football clubs rather than these made up ones.

You UK and US people still have nothing to complain about...at least you have access to half the stuff still, either the Uk stuff or the US stuff...can you imagine what it's like to live in a country like Belgium, where there's nothing?
Really, it's frustrating. The 'funniest' part is how I go to university in the Netherlands, watch a youtube video there at uni, go home to Belgium, try to watch it again, but it doesn't work cos apparently it's not available in my country.

No, REAL football clubs have midfielders who CARE enough to do things for charity rather than their own pocket...
 
He's actually heavily involved with children's charities. His wife's sister was adopted and is a special needs child and so he is a patron of the Alder Hey Children's Hostpital, Global Ambassador of SOS Children's Villages and a patron for Claire's House which is a hospice for kids.

Right, I'll detract from this thread no more 😉

Does look like a nice ipod though 🙂
