Almost finished Buffy, what should I watch next....?

I also strongly recommend Life on Mars and Battlestar Galactica.

I like all of the shows the OP likes. Some I enjoy:

Dexter, Dead Like Me, Wonderfalls, Pushing Daisies, The Inside, Point Pleasant, Tru Calling, Veronica Mars, Bones, Millennium, Dark Angel, Miracles, CSI, Supernatural. And Lost, but...you mentioned that.

It's been a while since I've felt that completely addicted, overwhelmed feeling where you just completely into a show and can't wait to watch the next episode. That happened with me for Angel and Buffy and this other series called So Weird. The last time I got that way over a TV show as it was airing was unfortunately Point Pleasant, in 2005. I've gotten into lots of shows since then but never so addicted, which sucks. I love that feeling.

I'm hoping that will change this fall...JJ Abrams and Joss Whedon both have shows coming out.

Supernatural- After BtVS and Angel, this is my favorite show. It's scary, funny, keeps you in suspense... I feel like watching it now.

Veronica Mars- It's really good. It reminds me of the earlier seasons of BtVS when everyone was in high school.

Heroes- The first season is great. I haven't seen any of the second season though.

Smallville- Although the Clark and Lana stuff get's repetitive, it's still a good show. Since you like BtVS, chances are you'll like this too.

The King of Queens- This is a sitcome but it's the best freaking thing ever! Who ever isn't a fan GET INTO IT NOW!

Alas, The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles never made it to DVD. The ones with Sean Patrick Flannery were usually good (though the episodes with the little kid were uniformly lame.)

I got the complete Buffy boxset at xmas and have been making my way through it since January. I've just got Season 7 left, but am delaying starting it because I seem to remember it was quite depressing. Seasons 4, 5 and 6 were bad enough...

Anyway, eventually the dark day will come when I've finished Buffy, and I was wondering what you would suggest I should line up to watch next? I've given up on TV now, it's all about the boxset...

Cameron is the hottest robot on T.V! I'd go with Doctor Who/Torchwood or Lost. Both of which are awesome 🙂

I would totaly go for Costa (because I'm a real noob 😛) and grey's anatomy.. uhm and bones and angel because of david beeing funny and hot all the time. Owh and the l word, but that's something you just have to like of dislike.. depending on your sexsuality 😉

L-word went downhill quickly.

The first season was really interesting. But by season 2, it was completely off the rails and none of the characters seemed believable anymore. Suddenly EVERYONE was in a race to see who was the most self-destructive. One character with self-worth issues? Good TV. Six of them? Not so much. And without good characters, the only appeal of the show was... you know. And you can certainly find better on teh interwebz.
