Alternate Faith storyline

Imagine Faith coming out of her coma with a major case of amensia and Buffy takes upon herself to take care of her, feeling some guilt in putting her in the coma in the first place. How do you see the rest of Season 4 unfolding with amensiac Faith involved? When do you think would happen when she regains her memories? Revenge or forgiveness?

Sounds like a great plot for a fanfic. 😀
I think that the Scooby Gang would help Faith get better, because I mean they helped out Spike when he had the chip.

Yeah, I thought this would be a good fanfic idea but I never have the energy to write it. Just brainstorm.

I, too, think it would make a great storyline or fanfic. I think if she were ever to regain her memories and find out that Buffy and the Scooby Gang helped her even if Buffy came close to killing her, I think she'd forgive Buffy - so overall forgiving everyone else, despite what she did to them. I totally feel like writing something like this now. Maybe if I ever begin to write it I can totally throw in some Fuffy....

I had this idea about her living with Joyce in the Summers home. Joyce develops a maternal bond with Faith which Faith finds deeply comforting since she didn't have much of a maternal presence when she was a kid. Since she isn't going to run off to Los Angeles like at the end of the original version of the S4 storyline, I can her living in the Summers home as a roommate/surrogate daughter/sister in the following seasons.

I think that would have been interesting to see, but I prefer the storyline we got. After all... If Faith wasn't bad, we wouldn't have gotten the body swap scenes in "Who Are You"... Faith-as-Buffy in the tub, anyone? (sw)
