Alternate Master backstory

this is a backstory that i came up with today, for my re-imagening of The Master.

Once, he was a respected member of the Watchers Council and friend of Giles' family when he (Giles) was a kid. One day while on a trip somewhere, he got vamped. The Watchers council, sickened at the fact thata Vampire has the knowledge/skill of a Watcher, decide to seal him permanently in a Hellmouth.

After being locked up for a goid few decades, he has become a bit cuckoo, and has developed a grudge against the Council and humanity itself. As an act of revenge, he decides the moment he is freed he will seal the entirety of the human race in a Hellmouth and those who arent imprisoned will be hunted by his minions.

I think this is an interesting story for a villain, but it doesn't fit The Master. He is a very very old, possibly older than Anya. Now it could be a cool idea if he knew the Shadow Men before they became The Watchers Council. It's a cool concept you can work with and figure things out.

I think this is an interesting story for a villain, but it doesn't fit The Master. He is a very very old, possibly older than Anya.

The major problem to be overcome would be that the Master turned Darla several hundred years before Liam was turned, making him at least 4 or 5 hundred years old.
