Alternative scenario to Buffy and Angel's meeting

I think I read something about Angel telling Buffy about Cordelia but they pulled it out of the episode "Chosen" or something? Anyway, I keep thinking how funny it would have gone if it were like that. Something like:
Angel: "Buffy, I'm in love with Cordy".
Buffy: "Cordy who? Oh! Cordelia? CORDELIA?!"
Angel: "Yes, her".
This is where Buffy pulls out the Spike card:
Buffy: "You know, I slept with Spike, I don't only have feelings for him, we slept together a million times. That's why I have his scent on me".
Angel: "Spike who?"
Then Angel mentions his card:
Angel: "You know, I have a kid".
Buffy: "You and Cordelia have a kid?!"

And so on.
So my question is, how do you think Buffy would have reacted to Angel's relationship with Cordelia AND Connor?

^^ I think because it was the last time they appeared on TV together it was better that they didn't try to make each other jealous and be petty. I believe Buffy and Angel are meant to be together, so I liked how they played it, they didn't go into too much detail but still hinted that they loved each other, and still left room if they ever met again and would have the chance to talk about Spike and Cordelia

And to answer you're question, Buffy hasn't seen Cordelia since Angel season 1/Buffy Season 4. Cordelia was a completely different person, so I expect Buffy to think Angel is crazy. And I expected Buffy to feel betrayed by Angel, because they still have feelings, and I think her finding out Angel had a baby with Darla would be pretty devastating

I'm not sure. Buffy's, "My god, are you TWELVE?" seemed to me to indicate that she saw Angel's reaction to her being with Spike as somewhat immature at the very least.

And while I agree completely about how much Cordy had matured since leaving Sunnydale, Buffy wasn't aware of that change. To her, Cordelia Chase was the same character who she went to high school with, which would make a certain amount of sense. Cordy's drastic change over just a few years was phenomenal by any standard.
