Did anyone else notice the lame aluminum foil covered inground pool that was the Initiative? Comma sure did.

Comma knows that the budget was supposedly smaller than Season 3's, but Comma thinks they could have done a little better.
 
Cordelia doesn't know about that...the Initiative did make Xander want to have sex with Riley. Like Cordelia always says, it's not the size of the budget...oh what the hell is Cordelia talking about..of course it's the size of the budget!!

It's cheesey-- JW knew it ---and I think its one of the reasons behind the cheese at the end this season....brain fart over(did i really just say that ? aw well???)

Anyway could of been some whacky excuse, like demons may be scared by their reflection, or be like magpies and say "oooh shiny" and get distracted.
 
Aluminium foil one thing, it had that cool Star Trek thing going on and you've gotta respect that. But what's with the weather ballons?
 
They are used on movies to create full moon effects. It is explained in the "The Initiative" commentary.
 
Yeah I thought I'd heard something abot that, but more importantly than what they are, what are they doing in a military base?
