Aly and Alexis' love story

Both of them are so funny and talented. People forget how funny Alexis is because of how serious his character becomes. I always enjoy hearing stories with happy endings 😀
 
This is great! I just saw a picture of aly and her daughter in one of those "us weekly" type magazines and I was so captivated by the love and joy in her (aly's) eyes as she watched her daughter sit on this merry-go-round horse... it makes sense that love made that little girl.

and, I'm just starting season 1 of angel and wesley is really starting to grow on me...didn't really care for the character much on buffy I have to say... so...

all good things.

You are in for a treat!!! I hate Wesley on BtVS, but LOVE him on Angel. I think it's around the end of Season 1 when he's no longer the same Wesley from BtVS. You'll love him!!! You'll see!! (BTW, that wasn't a spoiler, in case you were wondering).

Please don't google Wesley or Alexis to find out what happens during the next 5 Seasons... it's pretty amazing. 🙂

just watched the episode in season 1 when cordelia has a party and wesley's dancing in the beginnning...so great!



this is a great love story! I love love.

Oh, and cool how their characters and their real names both start with the same letter (as eachother).

I think the oppite. He was hilarious in Buffy S3, as a character. He made me laugh. He didn't, on Ats. I feel they kind of ruined them there. But it's like with Cordelia. She was better as a character on Btvs, but I liked her as a person better on Ats. I think they ruined a great character, as much as I liked her better later on when she's changed. Character wise, on both cases, they've been ruined.

That's okay. This is how I see Spike though:
Yes, they changed him. But they didn't change the character, they changed the man. This was his journey, to become a better man. It was for a reason. In Wesley's case, it felt like they changed him for the story, for the new series. They didn't keep Weslehy the man. He felt like a whole different character, and just for the new series. So they ruined a good character, who IMO, became a little boring. He is sexier in his new persona, he is a better fighter. But what he was, after a little while I didn't sense any of that. Nothing from the old Wesley was left. In Spike's case, the good man - the Spike from later seasons - was always who and what he was. They didn't change him really, they just went for the real him. The evil Spike is not really the real Spike. So when they "changed" the man, they revealed who Spike really was. It was still the character, and it was right.

I'm talkie, I was just trying to explain why I don't think Spike was ruined as a character 🙂

They are super cute together! Alyson just did an interview for one of the parenting magazines I get at my doctor's office. Her little girl is adorable, too! They sound like really fun parents.

I'm about halfway through the first season and so far he is hillarious. In expecting when he confronts the demon that impregnated cordeila and those other girls, stalling while he's waiting for angel, "but first, I like to get to know my opponent a little... do you have any hobbies?" and he makes that serious face. so cute!

lol Wesley is indeed awesome. Trust me though, he becomes a straight badass in later seasons, you'll love him even more😀

In last interview on the set HIMYM, Alyson said a little words about who helped her relationship with Alexis.

Hannigan met Denisof on the set of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," but they didn't date until they had been friends for a while.

Of course, Hannigan credits "Buffy" and "Angel" executive producer Joss Whedon for her meeting Denisof but also gives a nod to one of her "Buffy" co-stars.

"We, of course, thank Joss," she says, "but we owe a lot to Anthony Stewart Head, because he -- I was actually there for the conversation he had with Joss -- when we knew there was going to be a new Watcher, Tony was saying to Joss, 'I know this guy, Alexis, who'd be great for that role.' So they brought him in, because Tony actually put in a word.

"But then, he balanced it out. That was a good deed, and then when -- Alexis and I were friends for a long time first -- then I came to Tony and said, 'Do you think Alexis and I should try dating?', he was like, 'Absolutely not. It's a terrible idea. Don't risk the friendship. You guys are too good as friends. You shouldn't mess that up.'

"Then he talked to his girlfriend, and she was, like, 'Absolutely. You're crazy. They're wonderful.' The next day, he came back and said, 'All right, Sarah said you should.'"

Oh my god that's adorable! Go Tony's girlfriend. xD Aly and Alexis are a great couple.
