Haha this is good 🙂 and so true. My boyfriend was gobsmacked when I told him Aly was in her late thirties. I think she could easily still pass for mid twenties and she's ageing much better than SMG in my opinion. Alexis looks younger than he is too.

Okay, I physically cringed at the spelling of this thread title 😉

Now, onto business, to be honest I think Aly definitely looks to be in her thirties in HIMYM, in her late thirties... no maybe not, but she definitely looks as if she has aged a lot since the Buffy days. That said she is aging well, it's pretty much only the area around her eyes that's the give-away to me. Otherwise she looks very young still 🙂

Clever actress, she knows how to apply make-up so that she looks the age of the character. Except when she was in the episode Doppelgangland, it does help being a real vampire sometimes.

I know I was cringing while writing it, but figured I'd have to spell it that way lol!

Also it is a little biased, it lists the start date for BtVS (1997) but shoes promo pics from Season 5 and 6!

She really does look very good, but I wouldn't say she looks the same. The dark hair ages her and definitely makes her look older. She's still cute as a button either way, and really doesn't look 38, but she definitely looks older since the dye job.

I watched my first episode of HIMYM only a while before watching Welcome to the Hellmouth. I thought for a second "isn't she from HIMYM?". She definitely looks different now than she did in season one, but in general she hasn't aged that much.
