For most of the celebrities attending the People's Choice Awards winning a gong will have been the biggest concern on their minds.
But Alyson Hanningan used the event to show off her baby bump to the full in her first public appearance since revealing she is pregnant.
And the How I Met Your Mother star looked in fine form as she flaunted her figure in a tight red dress.

Her hunky Angel star husband Alex Densiof could not his hands off his wife's baby bump as they posed for pictures on the red carpet.
And the 45-year-old, who played cad Lord John Rossendale in Sharpe, looked as pleased as punch to be becoming a father for the second time.
However all eyes were on his 37-year-old wife, and she lapped up the attention in her eye-catching outfit.

Mother-of-one Alyson only announced to her fans last month she was pregnant on twitter, saying: 'Yes, I am pregnant! This time it is NOT a food baby. We are beyond happy!'
The American Pie favourite was referring to her hilarious response she was pregnant after being spotted with a protruding tummy at the Malibu Chili Cook-Off event in September.
She said: 'NO, I'm not pregnant! I just ate too much carnival food, that time of the month, hurt my back & couldn't suck my gut in, and need to do cardio!'

aww how cute, although I must admit she looked slightly awkward rubbing her tummy in the video :/ they are so cute together and Alexis gets better with age, I'm sure

I'm so glad these two are still together and expecting their second child. They look so happy together. Thanks for posting.
 
She looks amazing at any time ever. When she's pregnant she just glows, she's so adorably happy. 🙂

Wow, I could almost want to be pregnant again after watching that. Looks like she had a lovely time - I still bet she was happy once the evening was over and she could get her shoes off. ;-)
 
What a beauty. She looks so relaxed and as if she's enjoying her pregnancy. I love that Aly never feels the need to dress up just to go to the shops, she's never in six inch heels trotting around she seems like she'd much prefer her cons and some comfy clothes, that's my kinda person 😀
