Alyson Hannigan's Halloween decorations!

Oh I love those decorations, I'd move in with them in a heartbeat 😀 I'm nutty for decorations as well.
 
I love Aly and Alexis' decorations... and I love everyone else's too. Katy and Russell's house looks super spooky! And everyone else's gates are awesome with their spiders and webs! I love it!
 
I'm kind of surprised that the Daily Mail expect their readers to know who Aly and Miley Cyrus are...for those not in this country, the readership of the Mail is generally aged around 60 and up, and it's a borderline hysterical religious right-type paper.

Wow, I find your generalisations about the readership and content to be overreaching and generally inaccurate. Feel free to have your opinions but don't express them as fact. I haven't seen many religious articles and if they are religious they're commenting on current events relating to religion, it's a newspaper, it doesn't often talk about religion, it talks about the news.

The readership may include people aged 60 up, but many other people also read it. And yes, it is a conservative paper but why comment on that? It's not a bad thing.

Wow, awesome!! 😀 There are too many punks in my neighborhood for me to spend money on Halloween decorations; I'd be scared they'd just get destroyed. 🙁
 
Nice to see there are still some adults who take halloween in such a lighthearted and childish way. Gives me hope that you don't have to be boring and serious once you reach a certain age. 🙂

There's a religious right in the U.K.?

Alyson's decorations look really cool... that pic of her hanging a ghost is super cute. 🙂

Alexis must have been busy climbing ladders that day. But I notice there are no witches among those decorations... Aly probably didn't want to have to deal with the wisecracks.

Russell Brand and Katy Perry have a very nice house... not the style of place I'd expect them to live. Surprisingly close to the street for a celebrity home, too.
 
1) I freakin' love those ghosts she put up in her tree. I think they are cute.

2) The spiders kind of scare me a bit. LOL.

[MENTION=10446]sisterofmercy[/MENTION], really not wanting to argue, you're fab and so is [MENTION=10883]Ianigsy[/MENTION], but I think most, if not all newspapers have a political bias, if not all. And if it wasn't necessary then it should have been pointed out in both posts, not just mine.
 
I won't pretend that I was doing anything other than generalising for the benefit of people outside the UK who won't be familiar with the political allegiances of our various papers and why it's not the first publication where I'd expect to see pictures of stars who appeal mostly to a younger audience. But I'd agree- this isn't a discussion we need to have here (if at all).

But as regards Halloween decorations, I think the problem here is getting hold of high quality ones rather than cheap plasticky stuff. I have two jack o'lantern tea light holders which I tend to bring out, but then I'm old enough to remember when Halloween in England meant carving your lantern out of a swede (the root vegetable, not an actual Swedish person). Funny, but I always miss the smell of burnt turnip now.
