I think she was given more to work with in Buffy. I mean, it's a drama and the writing was far more complex. I think she plays Lily quite well. I just wish the writers would go back to season 2 ish and give her a bit more depth. Same with Marshal. Last night's episode makes me believe they're headed in the right direction...

And I totally get what you mean, she had more to do in Buffy, but in HIMYM she doesn'y cry as much. lol I LOVED the ep in season two when her and Marshall got back together and she had been crying. So cute. haha And GREAT acting! 😀
 
Excellent news, both for HIMYM and Alyson, but unfortunately I don't think she stands much of a chance to win this! I'll vote for her of course, but up against Jane Lynch I just don't see there being a chance.

I voted for Eva Longoria ! ha i'm terrible,, but i really don't watch Himym. Never really liked it that much.
