After not really watching Buffy for years i now find myself hooked once again. I've just watched "Tabula Rasa" when i should be sleeping but i'am almost obsessed.

Maybe its just me being weird but i think its a testimant to the show that after 7 years i can still be moved and enjoy the show.

I love the characters, the story, just really everything about the show.

On the one hand it makes me happy but on the other hand quite sad knowing most people have forgotten about it.

Just a little rant but back to the point has anyone just watched an episode and then found himself/herself wanting to watch many episodes in a row?

My mum says "you've seen it all before" but i still appreciate and love watching the episodes.

Same here. I got hooked back in 2000 when s4 was on, i was addicted for couple of years, then i didn't watch it for about 5 years. Then one day i'm flicking thru channels and its on and i thought 'wow, i used to luv this' so i went and bought Buffy s3 just for a blast from the past, and i ended up getting all of them and Angel and firefly. Buffy seriously rules. I love it.

It is one of those shows that you can float in and out of the obsession, whilst never going 'off' the show. It's a testament to it's brilliance and uniqueness I think. I mean I can go ages without watching Buffy, although I always consider it one of my top shows, and then I'll catch a randomly aired episode on Sci-Fi or something and I'll feel this rush of affection and want to watch a few more (And possibly, if I'm in that mood, a whole season and beyond!). It's odd yet nice for a show to have that kind of effect on it's fanbase.

I think I get hooked like, once a year LOL I watch some episode, just out of nowhere, and then I find myself watching everything all over again 😀
Just did it with Angel last month, since I, finally, bought the US DVDs in January 😀

Believe me, people have not forgotten about Buffy. The show's thriving fandom is a statement to that.

I re-watch the episodes all the time. They comfort me when I'm stressed out.

Same with me... When I´m really pissed with something, or really sad about thing, about like and stuff, I get my DVDs and it´s like therapy, but cheaper 😀
Of course, I watch other shows like Gilmore Girls and Charmed, but Buffy/Angel has a connection that souths me for a while... However, sometimes watching Angel makes me incredibly sad, but then it´s because there are some personal issues connected do Angel and I can´t separate then LOL

Its the relationship the characters have which really draw me to the show. Today for instance i watched "Helpless" and it showcases Buffy's relationship with Giles so well. Fantastic acting from Sarah when Buffy finds out Giles has been disabling her abilities.

Then its revealed infront of Buffy that Giles has a father's love for her and she lets him tend to her wounds. Might sound like a small moment but i love the sentiment and for me it makes it a really powerful episode.

I can't think of another show where i enjoy the individual relationships the characters have more so than in Buffy.
