Sooooo.... I went out drinking tonight and got home around 1:30am, Angel is on at 2:00am. The episode is I Will Remember You (the episode where Angel becomes human for a day)is on and I wanna watch it. is it wrong for me to only wanna watch while everything is nice and happy, before Angel decides to turn back time?

How is it terrible to want to watch happy stuff? You're really to hard on yourself. I'm guessing that's the booze.

YES! You are terrible! If Buffy & especially Angel had to go through it, the least you can do is watch! Haha 😛

Lol, no, you're not terrible. That's one of my all time favorite episodes, and I'm a huge sucker for the Bangel moments. As much as I'm selling my stereotypical guy image up the river, I cry in that episode more often than not.

I love just about everything that follows that episode on both shows (well, except Riley 🙂), but if they'd ended it all when Angel walks out into the sun and kisses Buffy, I'd have been a happy guy.

Watching that episode before going to bed would keep me up all night, but not because I would feel sad for the way that it ended. I can't help getting very, very angry at Angel for what he did to Buffy there at the end. It's bad enough that he threw away the one chance that they would ever have for even a few months' happiness, but then to actually tell her at the end what was going to happen? If there was ever a time when lying to someone you love was not only justified but theby far the best thing to do, THAT was it.

But I know, that isn't the subject of this thread, just the rantings of an old man with a peculiar sense of right and wrong and a peculiar idea about honor. Feel free to ignore it completely.

I agree. Bad moment for Angel to have a heart to heart.
It's part of the moment. You can't have one without the other. I personally have trouble watching the episode, but I still watch it all the way through. I'm bawling at the end of it though.

Yeah I definitely cry my fair share in that episode lol.

At least she forgot about it soon after.

Did you kidnap your friend's infant son? NO. You are not terrible. I'm doing a re-watch  ...haha I do something similar when I watch this one episode of Criminal Minds. My future husband (Matthew Gray Gubler) throws away something that reminds him of some girl he likes or liked, whatever, and I turn it off right before he takes it out of the trash muahaha

I have issues.

No you're not a bad person! I skip eps all the time cos I dont want to be put in a different mood.

Never thought of it like that but I completely agree! It didnt need to be that heatbreaking.
