Am I the only one that thinks this?

I can't say I ever thought that it would be a good thing to have Buffy turn into a vampire for Angel... for Spike maybe... but not Angel. 😛

I must admit that I had wondered just how it would work.. I mean would she become an uber uber vamp as she's already stronger than the average vampire? Or would she lose her slayer powers when she turned?

If she had been turned into a vampire, she could have been "cured" using the blood of a Mohra demon from "I Will Always Remember You" (Angel Season 1 Episode 8).

Maybe for Spike: thumbs up. lol

I don't know about her slayer powers, but I assume she would keep her slayer knowledge maybe (prophecy dreams, etc).

So, would she change back into the Slayer, or just a normal human?

Although I'm not fond of the idea as a whole. Although she was hot as a vamp in Nightmares. 🙂

I guess the effects the blood of the demon would have on Buffy after she turned would depend on whether or not she kept all her slayer powers. If she keeps them as a vampire then I'd say she would keep them when she was restored, but if she would lose them then I guess she'd become a normal human again.

I'm not really a fan of her being a vampire, it's just something I wonder about every time I see Nightmares.

I thought about vampire Buffy and Angel/Spike part in the siring, and I honestly think that souled Spike and Angel would never turn her into a vampire. Because I see how much demons repulse Buffy. Like when Spike admits that he loves her in "Crush" and she's disgussed by the thought of a souless vampire in love with her.
And also, in season 7, when Buffy meet the shadow men who want to put the demon inside of her, she doesn't want that demon part in her, even with the extra power, she rejects it. So the last thing she'd want is to be a demon. That also leads me to say that because both Angel and Spike know how much she's against being a demon and demons in general, they wouldn't agree to turn her, they love her too much to let her go there, to place she really doesn't want to be in.

I would have hated that, sorry😛

It would really suck, if Buffy was a vampire. She couldn't go out with the sun up and stuff.
Far too few possibilities... I think.
Buffy not going to school as a school girl? Count me out!😕😀

No, I don't think that ever crossed my mind. I love Angel but I'm very glad of how the series worked out, despite the fact that Buffy and Angel never ended up together. There was a lot of passion in the relationship but maybe that wasn't the best thing. But I do say that they were an amazing pairing and I love, love, love Angel.

However, if Buffy had been turned into a vampire then she wouldn't have killed Angelus and sent him into that untold hell dimension and we wouldn't have the amazing Bangel pairing in season 3.

Buffy could never be right as a vampire. That's why I don't read Vamp Buffy stories. I think it's a stupid though, no offense to those who think otherwise. But she's the Slayer, and she would probably be disgusted with herself if she was a Vamp. It's just a distrubing thought to me.

Besides, on the whole Bangel thing...I'm actually team Spuffy. But I don't really compare.

I really hate that idea. I've thought about it, but it doesn't make sense. Look at how evil Angel was when he first became a vampire. And how different Vampire Willow was. Buffy wouldn't be herself. She would be a demon in her body, maybe have some of the personality traits, but not the Buffy she was in life.

And since she already has slayer strength, would that be magnified, or would she just have the regular vampire strength? 'Cause that seems kinda lame since she's all special Slayer.

Oh, and I think Angel would feel wayyy too guilty to ever let that happen!

I could see Spike doing it though.

i think she'd be queen of the underworld with her slayer-magnified-vampire super strength :D
VampBuffy and Angelus would have made for a neat episode but no I really liked the Angel loved Buffy...and there is no way he would have done that to her.

I'd totally be down for way post Buffy season 8 (and 9 maybe?) Vamp Buffy/Spike action.

But I wouldn't have rooted for it during the show.

And not with Angel. Boring.

I know it's awful and selfish....but a tiny part of me wanted Angel to turn Buffy into a vampire in season two.
I know, I know, vampires are evil, she's the slayer, etc. And the series would have little room to progress.
But Bangel is such an amazing pairing that I wish it could have been more drawn out.

Like I said, it's only a tiny part of me that wishes that.
The rest of me says doing that would be too much like Twilight and it would suck. XD

Any thoughts?

i've always been a bangel but i honestly have to say that that idea never crossed my mind lol my problem was that because david did such a good job at being evil, i kept changing my position on the whole thing. like, i would just want him to be nice again so they can be together and he's not fighting her anymore but then he'd turn up and be all evil and i'd be like 'just kill him already!!'
ah good times 😀

It'd be interesting concept for...an episode or so, but I think it would change everything too much to be good for a long term concept.

I don't really want it to happen, but I would be curious to see what that would be like if they had done it in an AU episode. It is an interesting concept and does have a lot of potential. If the show had unlimited time to do AUs, I would love to have seen this explored.

I'm glad Angel never turned Buffy. Doesn't matter which season. I think it's better to just keep her human. Even though Buffy is Pre- Twilight, I feel like it'd be like twilight. I think it's best to keep the main female role human or not wanting become a vampire.

Maybe it's just me.

Let me get this straight. There are some who wanted Angel to turn Buffy into a vampire, so that they could be Bangel forever????? Are you kidding me? What is this? "TWILIGHT"?

I always thought Angelus turning Buffy would've been intresting but it could never happen on the show and I wouldn't be happy if it did. She's the Slayer. I once read a fanfiction once where Buffy lets Angelus turn her after "Suprise" which seems kinda lame. I'm halfway between writing a Vamp!Buffy right now. Kind of doing it, kind of not.

LAre you kidding me? What is this? "TWILIGHT"?

Gotta agree, Buffy being sired just to be with Angel forever is a bit of a cheap shot for me. And season 2 had such a fantastically heart-breaking ending, I wouldn't want to change it one bit. It was mentioned earlier, but Buffy is a hero and wouldn't let herself be vamped just to be with Angel. Although, it would be awesome to see what they would do with an actual vampire Buffy. We see her as a vampire in Nightmares, but I guess since it was only a nightmare she wasn't really evil (or it's possible her nightmare was becoming a vampire with a soul), but it would be cool to see an Buffy as an evil vampire in an AU setting. Just to see her strength, as I would imagine slayer strength + vamp strength would be incredible! Plus, her wit and passion as a slayer is so apparent, Buffy as an equally as cunning foe would be pretty scary.

I've never actually thought of that, but it's an interesting idea. I think it would have been very fun to watch 🙂 Can you imagine Spuffy happening with evil Spike and vamp Buffy? There could have been an evil romance triangle between Spike, Angelus and Buffy 🙂 That could have been cool 🙂 And then Dru could have brought Darla back, and...now i'm stuck. LOL 🙂 What if Kendra didn't exist and it was just Faith, Faith could have come in to try and stop Vamp buffy from destroying the world 🙂 That could be so cool! 🙂

Obviously the story would have little progression..but it's an interesting thought.

As for Angel and Buffy's relationship becoming stronger

1. Angel would NEVER turn Buffy...if he did he would never forgive himself

2. ( If you are a Bangel fan..I am somewhat in between Spuffy and Bangel😕) One of the things that makes Angel and Buffy's relationship so beautiful is that it is the ultimate forbidden love...they know that it will never work yet they love each other regardless of the circumstance. For me..if this vamp Buffy thing brought Angel and Buffy to a solid relationship then it would not be as great of a love story
