Confession time.

I love Cordelia/Angel together.

*breathes sigh of relief*

There, i said it.

Now, my question is, am i the only one to like this pair together?

I know a large percentage of Angelverse fans do not like them at all.

Anyone else who does like them, please say so, cuz im starting to feel like a bizarro freak here!
 
Okay, I will admit for a breif time I did picture Cordelia and Angel together sure but in MY opinion I think Cordelia and Gunn or (if he was still around or even alive for that matter) Doyle. Good ol' Doyle. WE LOVE YOU! :: broken
 
You aren't alone, Glitter! I love Cordelia and Angel! ACtually, I agree with all the couples in your sig. Especially, Fred and WEsley (My favorite couple.) People think I'm crazy, but I like Spike and Buffy, too. So, if we are bizarro freaks, we aren't eh only ones, anyway!
 
Oh no, don't get me wrong. I am alllll for Spuffy! Have been since Spike found out he loved Buffy. I am with ya Glitter😀 And of course BlueEyed
 
It was cute in the "Angel" series but outside of Angel, I didn't think they fit. But just my opinion. I liked her with Xander in Buffy, they were just CUTE!

I did as well. I never really liked Angel unless he was around Cordy. I don't know what it is about their dynamic, but she changed him for the better in ways Buffy never could. Cordeila and Angel had a real lasting love that was real and interesting to watch.

I like them together as well as Fred and Gunn, Willow and Tara, and Spike and Buffy for similar reasons. They are all real couples or semicouples who have problems yet bring out the best in each other and are genuinely happy together. Plus each of the couples I listed is fun to watch. My other favorite couple is Lilah and Wesley, but their relationship dynamic is very different from that of the other couples I like. I don't care for Xander and Anya because I don't think he was mature enough for her. Anya fell completely in love with him and wanted to settle down and have a normal life. Xander couldn't handle the commitment and hurt her terribly. I loved them together but just can't forgive how he treated her. She deserved a better man.

Well, I don't guess it was ever official, but they loved each other, you have to admit. I know some haven't seen it yet, but episode 100 gives my point. You'll just have to see. Anyway, I don't hate you. I'm not gonna get mad over an argument about TV show characters. LOL. No matter how serious I get about it. Anyway, Cangel is the best! My friend Lucila made me a cool wallpaper of it.

Hitomo, I disagree with a couple things you said. First off, I am a huge Fred/Wesley shipper so didn't get me started with the whole Lilah and Gunn thing. I like Fred and Gunn, alot, but Fred and Welsey are just made for each other. As for Lilah, I wanna forget that happened, really. Another thing is, I think Anya and Xander were great. Xander isn't as mature as Anya, I agree, but he did love her, even if he did leave her at the alter.

Back to Cordelia and Angel, I think they are perfect together, as I said.
 
I could never see Angel and Cordelia as a couple. I prefered their relationship when they were just friends. Season one of Angel was the best season for the Cordy/Angel friendship, that's when things were the best between the two in my opintion.
 
I too liked Cordy and Angel as a couple. This is just my opinion but I think that they had one of the most realistic and mature portrayals of a relationship in either show. Their relationship was built on shared life experiences, trust and respect and their romantic feelings grew out of those experiences. Now if ME had allowed their relationship to follow its natural path who knows what might have happened. Maybe they would have stayed together, maybe not, but we as viewers weren't allowed to watch the relationship play out. Instead ME decided to go for the predictable and crush the life out of it, all in the name of angst, shock value and the complete and utter suck that was ConCord and S4 in general.

And this is coming from somebody who has only seen their relationship at the end of season four up until now. I have yet to see the beginning of it.

That kiss at the end of "You're Welcome?" Whoa! That was a nice kiss.

I can see your point of view. Cordy and Angel's relationship developed over time, unlike bangel's love at first sight. But everytime I try and think of them as a couple I keep remembering what they were like in Season 2 on Buffy. It was great how the writers progressed the relationship from that to a very close friendship. But I think they should have left it there. The whole concept of their relationship was spoiled by the Season 4/Season 7 Finale crossover with Buffy. In Angel they had been developing this close relationship with each other and then Cordy ends up in a coma and not two minutes later Angel is sucking face with Buffy (but I'm not complaining). I wish they'd just left them as friends.
 
Yeah, Angel and Cordy would make a good couple, but too bad that Weldon had to kill it before it began.
 
They were cute together but it would never have worked. We can't forget that Angel cannot have a moment of perfect happiness... or he goes all *GGGRRRRRR-AAAARRRGGH*. Although some Bangel shippers would argue that he wouldn't have that bliss with anyone else except Buffy... even if he were to get jiggy with them. I think he would so it could never have happened between him and Cordy! 🙁
