Am i the only one?

To me Angel and Cordy are just like brother and sister by the time Season3 came around, I wouldve liked it better if they just kept them as friends. Since to me its like Buffy and Xander, they are like family now and seeing them get together would be disgusting to me. Plus I just didnt think that Angel and Cordy had that much chemistry during S3-4. I always thought they had more chemistry the first time they kissed in Angel S1.
 
GlitterySparkle, you aint the only one!! I love the C/A relationship. Id go as far as to say they are my fave OTP (one true pairing) from any TV show i've watched.

I believe that Cordy brought out the best in Angel in ways Buffy never could. The whole Cordy/Angel relationship was built on trust, respect and deep friendship and i think that's why it had amazing potential. I would have loved to see how the relationship would have went if given half a chance. Damn ME for having to ruin it all in the name of storylines. You're Welcome just showcased everything that is wonderful about C/A and proved once and for all that they DID love each other.

No offence, but i don't get this argument. I could perhaps see the point of it if you had mentioned season 1 or 2. But season 3? They were as far away from a having a brother/sister dymanic as it was possible to get during that season. Plus, the brother/sister thing holds no weight. Unless two people have a blood tie proving they are siblings, then siblings they aint. Otherwise, they are perfectly free to have a romantic relationship if they so wish. Yes, they were protective of each other, but thats because they were good friends and cared for each others welfare, not because they saw each other as a bro/sis.

Im not flaming you personally Primal Slayer.🙂 I just dont understand this argument. When it comes to my favorite couple i get rather carried away!
 
No, your not alone as you can see by all these replys. I loved the way she matured when she moved to LA. I loved the gradual grown up kind of love that evolved between them. That is what made her loss all that more painful. Could they have managed to be together without the "perfect moment of happiness" clause kicking in ? We'll never know. Can you have that perfect moment knowing that you will turn into a monster if you do ? Would that have been enough to prevent it ? Once again, maybe. Or maybe Willow could have worked something out, or the coven that Giles was in contact with in England.
 
OMG I love Cangel.

I am a Bangel fan, but since it didn't work out between Buffy and Angel. Cordy is my first pick for Angel. Their whole relationship is way more mature than Buffy and Angel's. Angel was there when Cordelia came in to her mature skin. Her helped her along the way and romantic feeling formed, because of their deep bond.

Bangel was full of some much teenage angst and Angel left for LA before they really had a chance to come into their relationship's mature stage.

Cangel happened when Cordelia had grown up and was ready for a mature relationship.
