Amber Benson in a WebSeries?

I knew they made little productions for the internet, but I didn't know they made actual pseudo-TV Series, and I didn't know professional people were behind them.

There's one called Girl Trash. Some of the cast and crew of The L Word appear to be behind it. It looks to be kind of a buddy film about criminal lesbians. Thelma and Louise it ain't, but if you want to check them out they're HERE

Oh, but Amber Benson. I almost forgot. According to Whedonesque.com quoting IMDB.com Amber Benson is going to have a starring role in upcoming episodes of GirlTrash.
 
Ya, I love girltrash. I forgot to mention that here. Her photo is so funny, her mug shot I should say. It's actually pretty funny.
 
Haha yeah I really like that show, I can't wait until Amber's character comes in!
 
Heh, Girl Trash is insane, but I love it. Can't wait for Amber to show up, I think she'll fit so good in this show, mhm.
 
Speaking of Web Series, now another Buffy Alum has done one. Felicia Day (Vi, the Potential, from Season 7) has created and stars in a series of webisodes called The Guild. It's kind of cute. There's 2 up right now. They're short. You can view them HERE.

You know...if you like that one you can see a more full bodied web series that is maybe the source for stories like Felicia's, but has nothing to do with the Whedonverse. Nevertheless, I personally think it's the best web series ever. It's called Pure Pwnage. The link will take you to TV Links, where you can link to them all.

Oh wait...as long as I'm linking to cool Web Vids. Remember Sarah Thompson who played Eve on Angel? She was in a movie called LA Twister, but it was an indie, and couldn't find a distributor. They decided to post 75% of the movie online to drum up interest. It's HERE. I so wish Emma Caulfield would do that with her mockumentary Bandwagon. I'd really like to see that one.

AfterEllen.com: What can you tell me about your new online series, Girltrash!, and how you got involved?

Amber Benson: I've known Angela Robinson for years, long before she was an L Word and D.E.B.S. diva! So, when she called and asked if I'd come and chill in the Girltrash! world, I was totally down. I really liked her initial concept, which was to mix something like The Departed with a hip, edgy lesbian sensibility. So far, I think the show is going well and I especially love my old friend, Lisa Rieffel, who kicks butt on it every week.

AE: What has it been like working on the series?

AB: I've only really done one day of work as of right now, but it was really fun. Angela is great to work with, as is her partner, Alex, who is totally shooting the whole thing. It's so cool when women take the bull by the horns and do all the heavy lifting.

AE: Does your working relationship with Angela Robinson mean there could potentially be any guest appearances for you on The L Word in the future?

AB: I would love to shake my booty on The L Word. Let's make it happen.

Okey, even though that show is really weird (and really bad most of the time) I would love for that to happen!
 
Yeah. A few years ago, I wouldn't have wanted to see Amber Benson on the L Word, but now I don't really care what happens to that show anymore, and I do love Amber, so I'd pretty much love it if she guest starred.

Amber is hilarious btw..

Why not? I think I'd enjoy watching Amber lezzing it up, not just in my dreams as is currently the case (with Faith! ooh), but also on the teve screen, with other gurls lezzing it up! Wonderful!

As for Girl Trash!, I love that series, so much. Especially now that Amber is on it. Rumour has it Girl Trash! is going on a short hiatus, so it might be a while before we get to see Amber in a new episode. I hope this is not the case, however.

My gurl Epo hollered at me about The Guild, and I like it. It's really funny 🙂
