WACKEN, Germany — You're never too old to rock. Two elderly men in Germany proved that to be true.
According to Deutsche Welle, two men escaped their nursing home in Germany to attend a heavy metal concert.

The men allegedly snuck out on a Friday night to attend Wacken Open Air, the world's largest heavy metal festival, KARE11 reported.
Police reportedly found the rockers 'disoriented and dazed.'

They were returned to the nursing home shortly after.

He said something about feeling young for once compared to most other visitor at a festival. 🙂

Wacken is mental! It is so much fun. But mental. I'll never go back again… but if I did, I'd make sure to help these fine gentlemen escape to its green pastures once more for sure! And make sure they got plenty of fluids so they wouldn't have to get so dazed and confused.

Wacken. If you're obsessive about hygiene, do not go here. I went once, and was really looking forward to it...I lasted exactly 24 hours, then fled. Yes, I'm a metal head but I can't deal with thousands of people so close to me for that length of time. Nope. No way. Never again. \m/
