I went into this expecting to completely bomb it, and I wasn't entirely disappointed. Economics was never my strong point.

But I can't BELIEVE I missed the "of the people, by the people, for the people" question! I had to memorize that darn thing in elementary school! (I won't say WHAT darn thing in case someone reading this hasn't done the quiz).

Well seems like I'm below average. Then again, I'm not American, I didn't have American History at school as detailed as Americans have, so it's probably not too pitiful, is it?

And it really was the Americanstff. Out of the economic ones (which were more or less neutral) I only got one wrong.

But I got question 4-12 (yes, ALL of them) wrong, so there you can see what we don't learn in school...

Actually, it says at the beginning that the average for all Americans that have taken the quiz is 49%! You done good.

That means that a tired version of me is below the average american. Oh God help me. 😉 Ok, I know I´m tired since looking at the answers it´s obvious that I clicked wrong on some questions. But since I had basically no idea on some I got rigth I guess that evens out. At least I think so, didn´t bother to check. My score? You answered 15 out of 33 correctly — 45.45 % :blush:

We discussed the American political system in school, but I couldn't really bother to pay attention, so I got most of the policy questions wrong. Also, I got the one about the Lincoln & Douglas debates wrong, which is quite shamefull since I scored rather well on my American history exam in high school. But, I'm very proud of myself for remembering the "Government of the people, for the people, by the people" one, and I'd have killed myself if I'd have gotten the one about the three branches of government, WW2 or about the Puritans wrong ^^

Also, I think I should mention that I've got quite some Martini in my stomach, which should make up for missing some relatively obvious questions 😛

Well, not too bad I suppose. I'm one of those folks who used to be a Politics major before I switched to Literature, and I took a Constitutional Law course as an elective for fun. I sucked on the economics. As in, that's where I made my mistakes. 😛 I guess it's been a year and a half since I took economics, so... 😛
