Wanna Review? I just saw it. Here goes:
First of all I loved it, which surprised me, because if someone had described it to me before hand, I would have said, "no thanks". I've seen my quota of bodily fluid comedies. I don't need to see another one.
The American Pie series however, finds a way to rise above the material.
I think it's because the American Pie characters make you care about them in spite of the gross things that are happening around them, rather than relying on the shock factor happening because of them.
The technique of using fewer leads with meatier roles works this time around. I personally would rate it an easy number 1 of the series.
Speaking of characters... Allyson Hannigan scores another bullseye. I know it's sacrilege to say it, but the nerdy, nympho with a heart of gold, Michelle Flaherty character rates right up there with Willow.
All in all I'd say this movie is laugh out loud, hilarious, with characters you'd like to call buddies. If you haven't seen it yet, bum the money. It's worth it, and then some.
