I'm psyched to see American Wedding...it's out on DVD and video in the US today. Gonna have to pick up a copy on the way home.
I really liked the first two. Loved everything about the first one. Parts of the second one were a bit weak (I'm glad they jettisoned some of the cast for the third...the second had too many characters with no interesting purpose or plot arc - Mena Suvari and Chris Klein's characters were especially useless). The super-glue gag cracked me up for hours, even though I saw it coming a million miles away - you know you've got comic gold when the gag still works after you've telegraphed it.
Unlike some of it's clones (like Not Another Teen Movie), the American Pie movies care about their characters. Despite the fact that they're gross and depraved, they're not mean spirited. Which is rare for this type of movie, and kinda rocks.

All three were great! I own the first two on video two! The third, American Wedding, made me cry in the end, it was so so sweet.
My favorite of all three was the second. I don't really know why, it just is my most favorite!
Alyson was great of course, but the whole cast made me laugh a lot! Chris Klein is such a cutie.

My fave part of the second one was Allyson and Jims big break up or the super glue part.
