Amy Acker guest starring on Once Upon a Time!

Amy Acker, who had roles on both Joss Whedon’s Angel and Dollhouse, will visit ABC’s fantastical freshman drama as a romantic interest for both Grumpy (of the Seven Dwarves) and his surly Storybrooke counterpart, Leroy, in a late winter episode that delves into the grouch’s backstory.

Lee Arenberg (Grumpy/Leroy) cheered the casting via Twitter, saying that on Friday he was “living the dream” working opposite both Acker and Ginnifer Goodwin (aka Snow White/Mary Margaret) — though it was not clear in which of the show’s two worlds their scenes were taking place.

Well, TVLine can exclusively report that Acker will play characters in both Storybrooke and the fairy tale world that was.

I knew she was going to be in it as this was the reason she didn't go to Con 1, but I didn't know who she was going to play
 
Yay! I am so hooked on this show. I usually hate anything fairy tale related, but gave it a shot because of Jane Espenson...& now my daughter and I watch it every Sunday.
 
Very excited to see this episode, especially after her appearance on Grimm (all the old Whedonverse exec's are cashing in on her talents!). Her last role was so chilling I'm selfishly hoping that this time she gets to play a "good" character. Regardless I'll definitely be tuning in 🙂

Doesn't tell us a *whole* lot more about her character, but she is mentioned in ABC's press release for the episode:
"Dreamy" - Unlikely allies Mary Margaret and Leroy team together for a good cause to help the Storybrooke nuns sell their candles during the town's Miner's Day festival. But Leroy makes a promise to a nun, Astrid, that he may not be able to keep; and Emma looks into the mysterious disappearance of David's wife, Kathryn. Meanwhile, in the fairytale land that was, Grumpy finds forbidden love with beautiful but clumsy fairy Nova, on "Once Upon a Time," SUNDAY, MARCH 4 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

Um, Storybrooke has nuns? Alrighty then. Although a clumsy fairy is totally up her alley. I loved her in Grimm! I thought it was one of the most compelling episodes & characters so far. And she's not dead, so she could be back. 😉

In the flashback , when she is a fairy in training, she kind of reminds me of Fred. Like she sort of tuned into Fred a little for when she was a fairy in training.😛

I was kind of giggly. Seeing her on Once Upon a Time.
 
Just watched the episode.
Amy is brilliant as the good hearted but somewhat clumsy fairy / nun.

Loved it.

I actually found Amy really annoying in this episode, the entire episode was a low point for this show I thought.

I just watched it and I would have to say the whole flying fairy thing was a bit cheesy. I kept thinking they just met each other that morning and their soooo in love already? But hey, it's a fairty tale!!

Otherwise, I still jumped up and down when I saw Amy!! My roomate was like, "Who's that?" She was a pretty cute and clumsy fairy godmother in training, even if she totally sucked at it! 😀
