Did anyone else notice Amy on the 2/11 episode of "Grimm?" She played a spider demon who kills and devours her mates, sort of like Xander's Preying Mantis girlfriend from Season 1.

Yes! Amy Acker is the best socccer mom ever! I watched the episode just because she was in it. I've never seen 'Grimm' before, and was therefore confused by the people that had beaver faces, but it was worth it to see her again.

I actually had no idea she was going to guest star prior to tuning in, but she did an excellent job with the role I think. She so perfectly fits into the role of soccer mom and loving wife, it made it that much more chilling when you saw her "alter ego".
A particularly creepy episode for arachnophobia sufferers like me and a couple of the scenes were pretty gruesome (anyone else cringe when
?). But that's one of my favourite things about the show. You can be totally disturbed by what's going on and at the exact same time feel sympathy towards this criminal who seems to be a victim of circumstance.
