Happy Town is not actually about happiness! Half Men in Trees, half Harper's Island, Happy Town is the story of a young woman who moves to a frigid Minnesota town that simultaneously finds itself stalked by a serial killer. Stars Geoff Stults, Amy Acker (my bet for the killer), Dean Winters, John Patrick Amedori and Sam Neill.

So.. will Dr. Saunders be back next year? Possibly in a Victor-esque form? And what does that mean of our newly favorite Whiskey?

I want Whiskey to stay in the Dollhouse, but Any Amy Acker on TV is a good thing. ABC's doing the shameless Twin Peaks comparison. With a bit of Fargo thrown in, looks like. I hope it's good.

If they don't use Amy any more than what they did in Season 1, I'm sure she'll be able to handle 2 shows...it would be a shame though....There's a toss up in my head as to whether or not Victor or Whiskey is my favourite doll.

Since it appears that she will be in a supporting role and depending on where the two shows film, She could do the same amount of time she did in S1 of DH for S2.

She could do both. Dollhouse is only doing another 13 episodes next season, and as she isn't a regular, I'm sure she won't be in all of them anyway. Also, who knows if her new show will even last three weeks? You never can tell with new T.V. shows.

Ask Ausiello

Question: Since Amy Acker's show Happy Town has been picked up, what does that mean for Dr. Saunders on Dollhouse? Is she headed for the attic? --Mike W.
Ausiello: Not if puppetmaster Joss Whedon has anything to say about it. He tells me he'll be "sending [Happy producers] chocolate and flowers," he laughs. "We're desperate to have her." As such, he is disinclined to put another doctor in the d'house. Only if "we find out that we're not going to use her for the bulk of the season" would he do that, he says. "[But] everyone is not going to be in every episode, so it's perfectly possible that there will just be stories that don't involve Dr. Saunders."

Her role in this does not appear to be a big one. Since she is not a regular on DH and they only shoot 13 episodes she could handle both.

I've read a few reviews of this and they have not been kind. Acker may be free for the Dollhouse anyway, if initial opinion is an indicator.

This show looks rubbish, it will be cancelled and then finally amy can join the main cast and we can all worship her.

Well, thats what i'll be doing anyway.

Amy Acker has already been confirmed to be showing up in season two, she'll juggle both. I read that on either E! Online, TV Guide, or EW.com and I don't feel like hunting it down either, so if someone else has seen that mention it please.

Anyhooz, Happy Town sounds interesting, I plan to watch it regardless of the reviews and see if I enjoy it.
