Amy and Willow

What about Amy teleporting Kennedy? No other real witch in the room. I am not sure where she would draw that kind of power. Unless she got some kind of a high from rack or the same way Willow drew power from Kennedy and Anya, or could have been elesewhere. Either way we know Willow is the more powerful of the two. I just had to throw that in of course.

The thing with Kennedy happened much later than the episode(s) in question. She'd had plenty of time to come into her own power (or "borrow" it from the rest of the Wicca Group if she's still evil, which it appears she is) by then.

^ Exactly. Amy is part of a much larger coven than in High School by that point, and judgng from her actions is likely to still be seeing someone like Rack. Did Rack die when Dark Willow took her tour and sucked him dry, by the way? Plus, look at the jump in power Willow achieved between 2001-2002. Even 2000-2001 for that matter. We know that it comes more easily to Willow than the rest, but Amy is a natural born witch. It doesn't really surprise me that much really. Amy being on par with end of Season 5 Willow (albeit, not including her one black-eye incident) seems about right, especially with someone like Rack's help. She probably juiced up for her little vengance spell anyway.

I wonder if d'Hoffryn paid her a little visit....nah, it didn't really work out well enough I suppose. The intention was there though. I wonder if Amy will be getting a sword through the chest in Season 8!

Still a bit confused here .
Was Amy seen as being evil through and through ?
TabulaRasa mentioned Amy teleporting Kennedy, the way I saw it was Willow/Warren was taking a gun to finish off what he tried to do before...kill Buffy.
If Amy hadn't teleported Kennedy that may have happened, so because Kennedy was there, she was able to try and stop Warren/Willow, and in doing so save Buffy, Amy did a good thing.
If some-one was to help Amy get rid of her evil tendencies, as Willow in season 7. Willow and Amy would be a good, and powerful friends.

It looked to me like Amy was trying to get Willow to kill Kennedy, giving her that one last little push that would completely destroy her. After everything else, Willow would never have survived that. So, no, I don't think Amy did a good thing except by accident.

I didn't, however, see her as completely evil as much as selfish and jealous of Willow.

She was def jealous of Willow. She hated that Willow's magic came so easily. I guess anyone would be.

I think that Amy was simply trying to create a rift between Willow and Kennedy. I don't believe she actually intended Willow to shoot her. It is very much in Amy's character to do something completely selfish without thinking of the consequences. She was never evil...she was just selfish and addicted. That led to her doing bad things. I think if Willow had killed Kennedy, Amy would have felt some guilt, at least....well, I hope. I could see her going all Faith though.

As far as I remember Amy didn't know about Kennedy, all Amy did was caste a simple spell on Willow, it was Willow who came up with the Warren thing, as Amy stated.
Amy thought Willow had more power, but that could have been wrong. Willow was required to use the magics, so it would have appeared Willow had more magical ability than Amy.
So, Amy could have had way more magical ability than Willow, but without the will or the need to use it, she wouldn't have known it.
Maybe Rack may have been feeding off Amy, and Willow.
As for the jealousy thing, that was how every-one forgave Willow so easily, even after she tried to destroy the world, that may have had more to do with the personality thing than with magic. Maybe Amy wanted people to be friends with her the way they were with Willow.
As Five by Five stated, Amy never intended Willow to shoot Kennedy, if Willow had intended to shoot Kennedy, after Warren/Willow had bought the gun he/she would have gone to the last place Kennedy was not to somewhere Kennedy wasn't.
That being so Warren/Willow went to Buffy's house...... why ?

I'd take whatever Amy said there with a grain of salt (maybe a whole shaker...)

I thought the implications were obvious: Rack fed off all his regulars.

Don't think she's using the right approach...

Let me re-phrase: certainly Kennedy wasn't the original target; and Amy may or may not have had any specific plans in mind, rather just setting things in motion to see where they'd go. But it seemed pretty obvious to me that when she teleported Kennedy away, she knew at that point where Warren-Willow was going and why, and set Kennedy in Willow's path with the deliberate intent of causing Willow even more grief.

With what you said about the grain of salt or the whole shaker,.... if it's ok with you I'd prefer just the grain of salt please. I really don't like that stuff.

About Rack feeding off his customers, evil feeds of others of less power, dark Willow drained Rack completely, as in she was more powerful than him. What I put was just a thought.

As for Amy not having the right approach, yep. If she'd turned herself into something with the cuteness of Miss Kitty Fantastico as opposed to a street rat she may have had the right approach.

This thing with Warren/ Willow and Kennedy could have been avoided if Warren/Willow had gone back and introduced Amy to a bit of lead. [ that's me attempting to be nice ]

Accurate, though - I thought they made it pretty clear that what Rack did was dose his customers with a spell to keep them coming back for more of his "charging up," while he in turn siphoned off their energies. Willow was his big mistake, as he seriously underestimated her.

At that time, though, Willow wasn't aware that Amy was behind the transformation spell. And Willow wasn't exactly in control of W/W's actions by then, anyway.

It seems to me, that if we assume the "dark magics" are like drugs that one can get addicted to, we know Amy's Mom was a total whacko...then couldn't Amy have learned all sorts of "bad" things just by living with her Mom? Then, Mommy goes all trophy wife and she's left all on her own to do what she wants...or like most people...what they know.
It seems to me, she could have easily visited Rack...just like maybe her mother did. She'd have known at least where to look for powerful bad magic...whether she regularly used them before turning into a rat or not.

Although, I personally, like the theory that the magic stored up and grew while she was a rat. It's a fun thing to try and picture.
