Amy In Season 8

Did anybody not like how Joss turned Amy Evil and a villian against the scoobies? I missed it when Amy was just Willow's bff since high school.

I thought it was a bit tired by that point, but then I never really liked Amy to begin with.

It certainly was not just a season 8 thing, it started in season 6. I actually liked the Amy/Willow rivalry. I liked how powerful he made Amy, she had that potential from the beginning, even before Willow started dabbling in magic. But Willow very quickly grew past her, and I think there was a lot of jealousy there. And resentment (that Willow hadn't turned Amy back human sooner, and that Willow didn't want to join in on Amy's games). It all came to a head in season 8, and I liked the storyline.

I thought it was a little extreme, but I think we are supposed to assume she went crazy being down in the Hellmouth with Warren.

I like the come back of amy. I like the versus amy/willow.
I was so surprised when i saw amy and warren in the comics!!!! that was ingenious i find.

I don't think Amy was ever Willow's "bff"...I always though that was Buffy's spot.

I enjoyed Amy as a villain. I must admit it took me by surprise when I first read it. 🙂
