An alternate route for Willow post-Tabula Rasa

What if Willow got it in her head that she could do a better job saving people than Buffy and throws herself into that crusade after her breakup with Tara partially to distance herself from that heartbreak? She ends up forming her own Scooby Gang who follows her commands and begins fighting the forces of evil her way which doesn't mash well with Buffy's way. This would lead to a series of head butting between Willow and her friends which lasts most of the season and culminates in Warren's fatal shooting of Tara or some other incident that results in Tara's death which pushes Willow completely over to the dark side and has her unleash mayhem in Sunnydale like she did in the season's last episodes. MikeJer, who created a website of Buffy/Angel reviews, spoke of such an alternate route for Willow in his review of Buffy Season 6.
 
It would have been interesting, but I think that's so unlike Willow.

Willow isn't a leader, and she looks up to Buffy. I can't see her trying to out-do her with her magic. I know she likes to use her magic as much as she can, but the only reason why she turned bad in the first place was because of Tara's death. I don't think Willow would have ever turned good in a bad way just because she has the power for it.

I don't know, I just can't see it. 😛 I like the way it was.

It would be too much trouble and time to introduce a whole gang of new characters, and I think Willow would rely on the Scoobies for comfort rather than going out and finding new people. Plus, she'd want to hang around them to see Tara.
 
Well I liked the idea that Willow formed a new group. A witch group for example. They could fight against demons and crime. I don't know if they should be good or bad, both ways are interesting. Maybe the group could split in good and bad witches and Willows become the leader of the good witches! A spin of for Willow like that could contain some amazing special effects!
 
I think that Willow has a bit of a bossy-side in her personality. Wasn't she the one who took charge after Buffy died in The Gift?
