I really want to get an autograph from Whedonverse people.
Do you know any adresses where we can send a letter with reqjests for autographs? Have you done something like that before?

Not sure about that, but a lot of the cast do conventions and signing events, if you can afford to go to one of them

I've sent requests to Joss Whedon and Miracle Laurie to no luck.

If you go to a convention, those are great places to get autographs if you can afford it.

Or you can always buy stuff on eBay.

I don't know that there are addresses where you can get autographed merchandise anymore, unless the actors' fan clubs are still active. You might try writing a letter through their fan club address to see if you get something back.

Last year Fran Kranz (Topher from Dollhouse) was sending autographs to anyone who sent him a message on facebook. I messaged him and he replied and I got an autograph in the mail like a week later.

But I don't know about anyone else.

What? I missed this. :(
I wouldn't personally trust any celebrity fanmail addresses requesting autographs, because I'm sure they're probably most of the time fake... But you should try at comic cons or other conventions, you can get autographs from them, but it can cost up to $40 just for the autograph...

woogirl I once wrote a letter to Anthony Head requested a autograph autograph autograph a school project but i got no luck. The address was in the old Buffy magazines! If you go on ghost of the robot official website you can get a james Marsters autography (there are some BTVS photos to choose from too) If you feel like getting others though eBay is your best bet . But make sure there is a COA and that it is a real autograph and not a print or fake.
Hope this helps 🙂

James Marsters are $35 plus P&P from here for a trading card the buffy pictures are more but currently out of stock

When I was a David Boreanaz fan, I sent him a fanmail to his official fan club and they sent me his autogaph (without me asking for it). But I'm still not positive if it's a genuine autogaph, probably his assistant's or something. So even though you can send letters, there is no promise that you will recieve an autogaph written by the actor himself.

Sometimes you get the preprinted autograph, but other times you get a personalized one. I guess it depends on how busy the person is. I just got a personalized one from Pauley Perrette who plays Abby on NCIS, although I sent the letter like a year or two ago.

IIRC, Anthony Head's official website has instructions for how to request an autograph. I seriously doubt that it's "live," though.

I once sent a letter to Kiefer Sutherland at his Los Angeles agency, and got an autographed picture back within a week. 'Course, he was in Romania at the time, shooting "Mirrors," so I know the autograph wasn't "live" unless he had pre-signed a stack of photos, which I doubt.

I know that we can get Alyson's autograph by sendind a request on 'HIMYM' 's fanmail. We have to send photo and an envelope and stamp for them to send back. I'm wondering maybe I'll try that.

I've been to a couple of shows in London, although it's expensive to go down for a weekend and pay for autographs as well- but I have a signed copy of Chase Masterson (from Deep Space Nine)'s CD of torch songs, as well as a few Buffy cast members over time before I realised I had enough for my lounge.

The best response I ever had, though, was from Victoria Pratt who was in Mutant X- I wrote to her after having my picture taken with her at a convention, only to find a few weeks later another signed photo sent from the Mutant X production office in Canada with a comment next to the autograph which referred back to a comment I made in the card I'd sent. So these things can work, but I think that if you write off you have to be prepared for a lower hit rate.

PM me if you are interested in autographs!

Why? do you sell autographs and are a dealer, or do you just have a collection that you're trying to get rid of?

The only auto that I would pay a lot for would be Glenn Quinn, I'm not sure if he did any event before his death so I doubt that there will be many around

No, I am not a seller at all. I have collected some pop culture autographs over the years and am trying to work out the best way to part with them.

I have never tried the fan mail method. However, I have gone to a few conventions and have gotten autographs. I'm not sure if anyone is interested but Inkworks (which is now out of business) used to produce Buffy and Angel trading cards. They produced Auto cards (A card with an image, description and autograph of the actor) and they also produced Pieceworks cards (An image, description and piece of fabric of a costume worn on the set). These are what some collectors use as an alternative to going to conventions/ fan mail. I myself have a whole collection of Auto and Pieceworks cards. I got a bunch of my Pieceworks cards signed at conventions as well. EBAY is a great way to obtain Inkworks cards. All of the cards are authentic so you don't have to worry about fakes.

Dragon*Con is a ways a way, but we will be in attendance this year. If anyone is in serious want of autographs, I'd be happy to pick them up for you -- even have them personalized! Unfortunately, the Whedonverse actors all charge for their autographs, so of course, you'd have to pay for the autograph and shipping. D: Hit me up if you're interested. 🙂 However, I highly encourage you to meet em yourself if you can. I have never had a bad experience!
