I was in the middle of typing a very, very wordy post, when my internet connection suddenly malfunctioned...but I didnt' want to lose all my post...so I copied...due to the particular malfunction I was not able to simply select the text in the reply box, but I was forced to copy and paste the entire page into Microsoft word.
I then proceeded to copy and paste only the text into another MicroWord document...but the formatting was weird...
The problem I am having now is that I have fixed the particular malfunction, (disconnected and reconnected, oh yeah, I'm so handy), but now I can't copy and paste the text back into a reply box....I mean...I guess I could retype the whole thing...but it's really long and that is really tedius..any ideas on what I can do?

Is the text you have saved in Word? If so you should be able to copy and paste from there after doing any re-formatting. Or did you do a screen grab? Which would make copy/paste a bit trickier. What file extension do you have on your copied text?

If it is infact text in a Word document...Word can sometimes apply funky styles etc. Try copying the text and pasting it into a text editor like Notepad. This will remove any styles that might have been applied in Word.

Then copy and past the text from Notepad into the reply box. I have to do things like this quite often at work thanks to Word.

See...it won't transfer to Notepad or Wordpad either...so far I only seem to be able to transfer it to another MicroWord document....but whatever...it wasn't that important of a post a suppose...it just irks me...

Wow that's frustrating...you tried selecting all text in Word and just pasting it into a blank Notepad document? You didn't try to open it with Notepad?

Frustrating!!! I hate when Word messes up!
