Andy Hallett dies

I just logged on here for the first time in a few days and saw the banner at the top of the boards.

So so sad.

RIP.

RIP Andy Hallett

I hate to be the one to let everyone know of the buffy board but the actor who played Lorne, Andy Hallet, died on March 29, 2009.

Luckily, you're not the one.

Is it too much trouble to ask that people with 'big news' do a little search first?

Not the time or the place. Now lets all sit back and realize the irony of FreakyDorky chastising someone for making a rude comment....

can't believe andy has died

I just found out that Andy Hallett has died at the age of 33. He died of heart disease on 29th March

I still can't believe this has happened. I think Im still in shock and I'm sure I won't be able to watch Andy in action on Angel for a while and just feel nothing but sadness. I was flicking through Teletext in the Entertainment pages today and Andy's death was on it. Never expected that but it shows how much of an impact as an actor he made.

It's always so very, very sad when someone we know and even love dies isn't it -- but think of all the enjoyment that Andy brought us not only in the 70 or so episodes of Angel he was in, but in all of the other projects that he was involved in during his life-time.

I for one hope that all of you guys will join me in celebrating Andy's life.

P.S. My apologies for the lateness of the reply to this thread - due to my still not having a PC that I can use on a regular basis I only found out he'd passed on today (April 3).
